i think knife and edc is still a niche hobby in malaysia not to mention the legal predicament that comes with it. the safest way to edc a blade in my opinion is still by multitool. that's why i've come to accept that i would have to stop buying anymore folder if im not going to use it much and just carry sak with me all the time.
