Looking for a hunting/utility knife with decent edge for skinning and mercy kills, of course other chores. I'm generally happy with the kind of design that exists with the Kershaw 0100, the SOG Pentagon/Seal Pup, the Benchmade 140 and so on.
Question i have is, which has the best steel? As i would like this purchase to last as long as possible, a blade with excellent steel is a must. Anyone got any good or bad experiences with blades breaking, dulling too quickly and so on?
hey buddy, as long it is a knife and sharp enuff, it is a good knife iregardless metal type. i had skin and cut open a wild boar with a QC rejected SOG Flash Tanto or knock off or whatever which i got it for only 30 bucks. it still and will get the jobs done.Question i have is, which has the best steel?
