This knife collecting hobby in Malaysia is so cold~
I am so tempted to order knives from the USA but am so afraid of our local custom's regulation.
I've read the "CORROSIVE AND EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES AND OFFENSIVE WEAPONS ACT 1958" and these two description listen below are considered illegal.

1. Any knife, sometimes known as a “flick knife”, which has a blade which
opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other
device in or attached to the handle of the knife.
2. Any knife, sometimes known as a “gravity knife”, which has a blade which
is released from the handle or sheath thereof by the force of gravity or the
application of centrifugal force and which, when released, is locked in place
by means of a button, spring, lever or other device.

- flick knife means switchblade which is automatic and is springs out by a press of a button that is attached to the handle.
- the normal knife most of us would normally get is the manual/spring assisted knife which requires you to push out the blade manually 20-45 degrees before the spring kicks-in and assist the blade to open up fully. And the law didn't state that spring assisted knife is illegal.
I've found some really informative information here too regarding auto and assisted knife:

Anyone can shed some light on this? pls?
