If you want to do it personally this is how you go about it:
1. Determine which land office you need to go to first. Land office is not like a post office or JPJ where everything is standardised. The land office which has particulars of your title would depend on the nature of your title itself. Look at the front of the title and how it is identified - HSM, HSD, PM, PN, GERAN. What does it say? Then look at which Mukim/Seskyen it is located in.
eg - If it is HSM or PM, then it is a Mukim Title and if it is Mukim Petaling, then you need to go to the Petaling Land Office. If it is GERAN or HSD, then you would need to go to the State land office located in Shah Alam. Go there, take a number and tell the person in charge at the counter that you want to do carian hakmilik. It will cost you RM30. Go early in the morning, around 8plus or 9 at the latest as there would be a big crowd there.
2. There is no such thing as an online title search. You can only access quit rent details and payment records via online.
