Let's not beat around the bush. The Galaxy Nexus is definitely the best Android phone available today -- it's possibly even the best phone available today, period. Sure, it's not perfect -- we're disappointed that the camera doesn't deliver the same wow factor as the rest of the handset. It's an alright shooter, but it's just no match for the state-of-the-art. There's also room for improvement in terms of build and materials quality. Still, there's no denying the satisfying look and feel, the stunning display, the impressive performance, the excellent battery life -- the whole is far greater than the sum of its parts. If you're contemplating on buying AP set, jpaq has some advice for you to consider.

Do switch the phone on and inspect with your naked eye for any abnormality in the display. Also see whether the display responds ok with your touches. Then slip in your SIM card and make a few calls. Check for any abnormality in the sound coming out from the earpiece. I have had an earpiece problem before. Not common, but it happened to me. Then ask whomever you are calling whether you sound clear to them or not. Then ask that person to call you back to check again.
After all that, when you get home, do play the heck out of your phone. Go google for apps which let your check for any defects in the display, like dead pixels, etc. Plug in a set of earphones (your fav or the in-box ones) and test. Play some songs through the earphones as well as through the speaker. Listen for any crackling sounds or other abnormality. Make calls, send SMSes, emails, etc. Plug it into your computer to see whether everything is working as it should be. Use the phone fully and even stress the phone if you can (but I don't mean physically!!!).
If everything works out ok, great! If not, go back immediately to the seller. Be firm (but not rude) with the seller when conveying to him your problem(s). If he had promised a one-to-one exchange earlier and you are within the time given, insist on that. I have to add that many sellers would rather not have to do a one-to-one exchange if they can help it. It means that they would have one less phone to sell. But insist on it if he has given you his word. And if he tells you that there is currently no stock to exchange for you at the moment, insist that a new unit should be given to you no longer than in 2 weeks time. Otherwise, ask for your hard earned money back and get the phone from somewhere else.
Honestly, I have not dealt with this directd ever before. From the forums, some say he is ok but could be perceived as a little stuck up. Ignore all this when your are dealing with him. Just be professional and expect professionalism from him as well. Keep it strictly business.

It tells you today’s weather before you start your day, how much traffic to expect before you leave for work, when the next train will arrive as you’re standing on the platform, or your favorite team's score while they’re playing. And the best part? All of this happens automatically. Cards appear throughout the day at the moment you need them.
However it seems a fair few people are having issues configuring Google Now to give them the smooth female voice, images in the search content and the ability to send texts, set alarms etc.

Please, read that again. And again.
The limiting factor in your camera phone is the physical size of the sensor and the lens. You aren't going to resolve much good detail past 5 megapixels, AND you will start contributing heavily to noise by shrinking the photosites.
The new iPhone 4S camera is great, but it is not great because it is 8 megapixels. It is great because it's a high quality sensor and a nice lens. It is great in spite of it being 8 megapixels.
I have printed poster-size with a Nikon D2h. That was a 4 megapixels camera. Those were 4 very high quality megapixels with the right glass on the camera. Having more, lower quality pixels is not the right way to approach cameras. From binary vision at Android Forums

Also, if you didn't notice already, games that are actually fun don't rely on polygon counts to sell the game, ie. cut the rope, plant vs zombie, coin drop, etc etc. If the iPhone 4 with SGX535, a lower end GPU than Nexus S, can have great game titles, I don't see how the G Nexus can't.
Food for thought, if the G Nexus can already play 95% of the games in the market (the other 5% being Tegra3 exclusives ), what significance does it make that the GPU scored lower in benchmarks?

Yes, ICS supports USB Host Mode. The Galaxy Nexus definitely supports it with its hardware, too, because it was announced that it would support USB game controllers. How it will treat attached flash storage is not known yet but it is almost certain that the functionality will be there. Paul, the founder of Modaco has published a modification of the kernel that provides compatibility USB Host
Install StickMount to enable USB stick mount / dismount. The app require root access.
Facebook?

Facebook won't sync with Nexus Devices because Google and Facebook had a little spat back when 2.3 was released. Whereby Facebook refused to use the standard contact sync API and instead used the one that Google had initially concocted from scratch for them. Then, when Google deprecated that API, Facebook didn’t feel like changing their code, so no more sync.
So 3rd party have developed and an app to enable Facebook sync, try HaxSync. Alternatively, you can flash ROMs that has Facebook sync built-in / fixed, if you have root access.

there is no way for the default keyboard to input chinese at the moment. You can however install a 3rd party keyboard and switch your keyboard when you need chinese input. Google+ application settings on an Android phone will automatically upload new photos and videos to a Google+ album. There's no need to panic, though, as the photos and the album itself will remain private until you sign into Google+ and specify which images you want to share with select circles
To disable automatic upload from the Google+ Android app, select "Settings" within the "Menu" screen and uncheck "Instant Upload." Now you have control of which mobile photos make it to your private Google+ album.
The Instant Upload settings allows for further customization, including uploading all existing photos on your phone, uploading only when connected to a WiFi network (good for those with capped data plans), and uploading only when the phone is charging.
If you've ever had or used Picasa, there is a chance you've got an album there that Google is picking up and syncing.
Click on the "My Photos" tab, click on the offending album, click on the "actions" tab, and choose "delete album".
To delete the synced photos from Gallery
Go to Settings > Apps > All > Google +
Then press the "Clear data" button.
Now when you go back to the gallery the instant upload and any photos linked in Picasa will be gone.
You should also disable the syncing before doing this if you don't want them to come back again.

When you launch an Android app, the task is active/running. You use the app, play with the app, etc.
When you exit back to the home screen (or go to a different app), the app is stopped. This means that the app is frozen and will not run/take up battery/etc. It also means the Android OS can freely kill that task if the Android OS needs more memory for other things (i.e. you opened up a really heavy game, you haven't gone back to that app in a while, etc).
So how does multitasking work? How does your app check for email in the background? This is done by something called services. Services run in the background, you don't really see it anywhere on your screen. Even when you quit your app, it still has a service running in the background. It checks your mail even if you're not in the app, it checks for new messages when you're not in the app. If you're busy downloading something using your browser, and you go to a different app, your download still continues, because the browser is running it's own download service in the background.
An example to this would be WhatsApp. If you don't open the app, how does it check for new messages for you? It runs the WhatsApp background service to check for messages for you. You don't have to open the app to keep checking for new messages, it already runs by itself in the background. The Android OS takes care of what services to run, kill, etc automatically for you. That's why if you use a manual task killer (you shouldn't, btw), after a few minutes you'll notice the WhatsApp service running again.
This, of course, does not apply to ALL apps. It depends on whether the app developer has made such a feature available or not. Let's take Draw Something as another example. It doesn't have a background service, therefore it doesn't notify you if you have new drawings to guess.
tl;dr, to answer your question, you don't have to open viber/yahoo/gmail/gtalk to get notifications. The notification part of these apps are running in the background and are checking for new messages for you.
Also, regarding the ICS tasks button, all the tasks listed there are "frozen" apps... the apps themselves aren't running and aren't taking any CPU resources.

To set wallpaper, long press at the homescreen - Wallpaper - Gallery to choose the image that you want. Alternatively, go to the Gallery app - select the image you want - Set picture as - Wallpaper
The ideal image resolution for Galaxy Nexus wallpaper is 1440X1280. You can use whatever image that you want, and crop / edit the image down to that resolution. When applying wallpaper, just select the whole image, it will appear as intended, and look crisp and clear.

Face Unlock is not the default lock (for obvious reason), to set it up go to Settings - Security - Screen Lock - Face Unlock. You can also choose other type of locks from here. Make sure to improve Face Unlock by using the "Improve face matching" option (Settings -> Security ->) after setting it up.

Don't worry, it is perfectly normal if you feel that your phone is heating up around the camera area, especially when you are using your phone, even if its just minor activities. (you don't know what's going on in the background).
After all, its a 1.2Ghz dual core CPU running underneath, the heat has to dissipates somehow. Just make sure that its not something crazy like above 55C, anything below 50 should be fine. It is advisable to avoid using the phone when charging.
You can install battery monitoring app to monitor the temperature if you are worried about it.

If you are having problem in applying wet SP, which is a must if you're looking for something that covers full front of the phone, here are some tips written by droid13579
Before you begin, cut your fingernails and wash your hands. This is to prevent nail damage to the skin and minimum the risk of bringing lint, dust and dirt.
Location to skin application: There are few locations are suitable for application: Steamy Bathroom (is a PLUS since steam is capable to trap dust) Bathroom Kitchen Bedroom Study Room/Guest Room
As long you switch off any air ventilation like fan, air conditioner. Lock your door and windows, your fine to proceed. Clean your area, to minimum the risk of bringing lint and dust.
After cleaning your area, prepare your own solution (if they don't provide you) try look for a shallow dish plate or spray bottle. Put 2 or 3 drops of mild soap and mix it with water, and you now have your own solution.
For mild soap, I suggest using baby shampoo like Johnson baby shampoo or any dish wash liquid.
Once your have your own solution, prepare your own version of squegee card if they don't provide you. Any credit card would be fine but make sure they have straight edges to prevent damage your skin during squegee.
Now you have those two main stuffs, time to bring out your paper towel or microfibre cloth. Personally, I prefer paper towel because it is easily available than microfibre cloth, or anti fog cloth is good to go.
Once you have those stuffs, bring out your skin and read their instructions. Some might give tips for application process.
Time for application, first wash your hands once again and clean them with your paper towel.
Before application, clean your device with your microfibre, anti-fog or paper towel to remove smudges and dust on your screen. TURN OFF YOUR DEVICE, REMOVE YOUR BATTERY, ENGAGE THE ON SWITCH!
For Spray Bottle method: Spray your non-adhesive skin for two pumps, then wet your fingers with your spray. Peel your Skin, immediately and give like 3 ~ 4 pumps on adhesive side.
Now place on your device screen, and align it with your fingers. Your skin should move freely for this time. After you have set your alignment, leave your device like 1~2 minutes.
After 1~2 minutes, prepare your credit card or squegee card. Start push your access liquid and air bubbles from middle to the left or middle to the right while try not to move your skin, DO NOT squegee the skin to hard or it will leave marks, or causing miss align.
Keep squeegee for like 5~8 minutes to remove all bubbles and use your paper towel/microfibre cloth to trap any water/liquid to prevent get into the device. After that, clean and damp the screen with paper towel/micro fibre cloth.
Now your skin should be like clean and zero bubbles, if they do have don't peel or being paranoiac. Look for a windy place and place your device there for 12/24 hours. Those streaks, micro-bubbles will dissipated during these period.
AND NOW YOUR SKIN SHOULD BE LOOK CLEAN AND BRAND NEW!
Shallow Plate "Dip" Method for Wet Screen Protector Application
When I said Shallow Plate to Dip your solution is not to immerse your skin to your solution. This might be tricky but if you do it properly it also gives a good look when it is done.
First, Prepare a shallow dish plate fill with water and add 2~3 drops of baby shampoo/ dish wash liquid mix with your finger and you have your own version of solution. Not to forget prepare your anti fog cloth/ micro fibre, paper towel and squeegee card/credit card.
**You may use warm water as an alternative.**
Now, wash your hands and clean your device to remove all those dirt, dust, lint and grease. Not to forget remove the battery, turn off the device.
Begin to dip the non adhesive side, a shallow dip is enough not immerse the skin. If it is too wet, shake vigorously to remove big water particles. Wet your fingertips by dip into your solution and peel it. Give shallow dip for non adhesive side and shake it.
**If you think shake vigorously still look wet for both sides, try wipe on one direction like butter on toast to remove excess water, liquid.**
Immediately, place your skin to your device and leave it for 1~2 minutes. Now your skin should move freely, and try align it in this time. Remember align it with your fingers gently by recognize it front facing cameras, proximal sensors and ambient sensors and front speakers.
After 1~2 minutes, start squeegee with your credit card from middle to left/right then up to down. Don't squeegee too hard or else you will damage the skin. Do this for 5~8 minutes.
**While Squeegee, try damp the excess solution and not to push the solution to cut outs**
After 5~8 minutes, wipe/damp the excess solution with paper towel/mircofibre/anti fog cloth. Your skin should look free bubbles. If you do saw a streaks, micro-bubbles. Don't be paranoiac and peel it, find a windy place at let it dry for 12/24 hours.
NOW YOUR SKIN SHOULD LOOK CLEAR LIKE IT WAS NO SCREEN PROTECTOR, TIME TO FOOL YOUR FRIENDS AND SAID I HAVE GONE NAKED WITH MY SCREEN

after tried few hours on Holo Launcher HD, found that less function that I need from Apex. Holo uninstalled. download Apex 1.3.0beta6, working fine & no FC. still prefer Apex than nova tested before too.

1st. pull battery. 2nd charge it 3rd hold volume up and down and power it up. (u should see lying down android bot, if not u can throw phone in bin) 4th plug into computer 5th boot toolkit 7.8 6th choose 7 7th choose 9 8th choose 2 (before u hit enter, put the tarz file downloaded into the put_google_factory_image_here folder. 9th hit enter and let it run.

Been using without a screen protector for over 6 months, yes it will get scratched. For me it's just a minor 0.5cm or so scratch near to bottom right corner. Not noticeable because of the all black surface.
If oily screen if what you are trying to avoid then using a screen protector or not isn't gonna make a difference because the screen will still get oily finger prints etc. Might be less oily than a SP but not avoidable.

i first tried to upgrade to JB using CWM but somehow the zip file i downloaded got error. before that i have unlock the fastboot and install cwm. copied the JB zip file to sd card and go into recovory mode and follow the steps. i didnt do any backup before that.
then i followed ur guide as advice by bro springfall....still nothing happen....

My suggestion, go into Bootloader mode, connect to PC, fire up GNex toolkit, relock bootloader, redo one-click-for-all. Then flash stock image also with the GNex toolkit. To ensure that your phone is perfectly clean. You sure your phone is connected when you reflashed stock image?
Oh ya... A piece of advice. Always check MD5 CheckSum before flashing. However, a corrupted zip file usually won't do much harm to your phone as CWM will stop flashing it as soon as it detects it. I did once bad flash with bad zip file before. I think what I did is I flashed the older version of my custom ROM. But apparently you don't have one and can't copy one into your phone now.
Should've done backup. Now time to regret

went to duplicate some house keys including the grill etc...once finish accidentally put the whole sack in my pocket with my nexus...went into the car and notice my pocket is heavy and tight...bring out my nexus and check the screen and i almost cried...there's one deep line on the screen with several fine line...i just took off the screen protector a week ago because wanted to replace it but still no time to do and now it is scratched...

A few hours ago, Apex Launcher added the v1.3.1 update and it boosts the performance and fixed the FC. Now, it's very usable and smooth. I'll be using it again.

and use mozilla or chrome, use IE i will , IE rate of broken files are sky high, i dun not want to wandle in it.

advice u to check the design papers for the nexus. how the parts are assembled etc. then u will know, itz not bad. i seen phones use paper tapes etc and parts not secured

running efficient mode 150min, 1280 max asus day scene full- not working for all (timeline, slideshow, wallpaper) aurora 2- working but shows a white with grey shading on top, appears green lines randomly n crack screen Blue sea- working, blue sea with green tapables. landscape works better as portrait has crack effects. able to tap green virus in bubbles but it will start to lag. swiping at first is a bit shuttery and as u scroll more, it lags like eclair stock launchers.

I know ainol Fire. But... How long will it be supported? When we say Nexus 7 is bad, Fire maybe worst. At the least, Nexus 7 if spoilt, just throw to Asus to fix with its International Warranty. Fire, spoilt probably means spoilt. Hard to get it fixed.

Agreed, but u see. There are many ppl thinking of ainol Fire instead of the nexus 7 is due to some "fantastic" reason. Fire got HDMI where n7 dont, fire got TF card slot support to 64gb+16gb buld in where n7 only have the build in of 16gb, fire have back camera where the n7 don't. Fire does have community support but not as large as n7 and also with some stable custom rom, of coz issue still are here and there. But overall, since tab is "FOR FUN", i believe the ainol fire can satisfy a lot customer out there. but at the same time, if ppl who seek for business purpose and having a stable build and community, nexus 7 is the choice. Anyway, i believe more than 50% of android user choose android out of iOS because of the fun-ness we get of mod and custom thingy...

The Nexus 7 is smooth even in the STOCK ROM. However, there's still some hiccups if you run some apps or something(claimed from my friend who own it). But, after flashing a Custom ROM, you'll see it shines!

here is the picture... connected to pc and run the toolkit as per your instruction. once completed it didnt reboot by itself. waited long enough then decided to manually press the power button to get it restart. is that how it shud be?

Nightly is testing one. Stable is tested and proven to be stable.

stable is daily usage or others word for public usage
nightly build is beta, more for testing purposes, might contain bug and problems

so now i have a few question, hope i dont get flamed, i tried to understand the FAQs at the front page.
1. since i am running stock jb, is my phone consider rooted? (i dont find any SU programs) 2. do you guys run stock jb? or other custom ROMs? 3. if i wish to flash a custom rom e.g. cm, do i need to revert my phone back to stock ics first and go through the whole rooting process again?

1. no supersu / superuser . means you havent rooted 2. i believe most of here run custom rom ( AOKP , CNA , CM10 , Rasbeanjelly , etc etc, MIUI) 3. nope . You need to unlock your phone bootloader incase you havent do so . Next will be install the Custom Recovery , for safety you can do nandroid backup for your stock jellybean rom before you wipe the data and flash any custom roms.

1 no 2 we all run custom, except some boring pple 3 no, just boot cwm and flash away.
basics of flashing. place rom, gapps, kernal and baseband(if going to JB from ICS) in sd card in folder name roms(to differentiate ) boot cwm and factory wipe. then install zip file in the order of rom, gapps, kernal, baseband, mods and apk. then reboot.
stock image cannot be flashed directly. use toolkit and read vernon 91 guide. if u not sure to get cwm and root.

1- not rooted, usually rooted phones have supersu, use the toolkit to root your phone 2- custom ROMs...dats the reason why nexus phones exist 3- no need..but better do a full backup in case anything goes wrong

hello guys, i backed up using rom manager, so now i have flashed cna3.6 and also latest gapps 20120810 (if im not mistaken)
may i know how to get back to my older apps like whatsapp, facebook messenger and etc etc?
if u download those apps from playstore it should be there for u to redownload...or if u have before this install and use titanium backup u can restore it with those

that's GT-i9260 leaked before, old rumor. I guess all vendor keep fighting to be next nexus and all of them submit their prototype to google. hope google can finalize with S4 krait SoC device, not to tegra anymore like N7 although they recently open the document source of the core after linus torvalds F Nvidia.
AM i doing right? I am using the Gnex TOOLKIT v8.1. After following the step using the 1-click for ALL. I got everything done. Unlock, Root, CWM. And now only left flashing CNA 3.6

To be safe, wipe cache and dalvik cache again before flashing.
Inverted apps means most of the apps are in black theme.

my stock Jelly Bean GNEX is starting to lag. I have 5.2GB available space and even whatsapp stutters...
Meeh, Whatsapp sometimes lag on android but that is due to the developers fault, try using Google Talk and see how smooth it is compared to whatsapp, but still I don't know how bad your "stutter" is but mine is still smooth

I think theres an issue la. Sometimes the youtube app will just freeze, gallery wont play video, then I restart the phone, battery jumped from 30% to 13%..

it may sound troublesome, but try factory reset. if ur prob was due to faulty app that keeps hogging ur phone processor, then starting fresh is the answer.
remember to backup ur sms or call log.. lots of app in play store to do that..
if ur phone still lag, then there could sumtin wrong wit ur hardware.. its possible..
btw, truth be told, i've converterd 4 of my ip4 frens after they played around my nexus..
i downclock my Gnex and it never restart, Gnex downclock still can side by side with S3, dont know why your phone need to restart so many times have you tried impress nokia friends? i bet they will say their phone have better OS, friendly interface and the BEST camera

I think theres an issue la. Sometimes the youtube app will just freeze, gallery wont play video, then I restart the phone, battery jumped from 30% to 13%..

I was in shop s2 and note user asked. They on stock. Both show silent mode n vibrate mode still got sound. Then I ask them go custom ROM
1.2GHz downclock to 690MHz still smooth Let my iphone 4 friend play. He's impressed. He said "yea yea, ppl say iOS won't lag but mine sometimes lost 'touch'. Short touch it recognize as long touch etc etc" X2-01 got Qwerty keyboard. X2-02 is replacement for X1-01. I bought the X1-01. Weird that in the shopping mall near my place, I didn't see X2-02 at all. Only see X1-01, Nokia 101, Nokia 110 dual sim models Choose X1-01 because of remarkably good loudspeaker as reviewed by gsmarena and also insane standby time up to 43hours. It's X1-01. Shop mark price 139, I asked till 125 because lowyat lowest price 125 Btw, X2-01 isn't dual sim models. X2-02 is around RM100 more than X1-01 with camera and bluetooth. Hi, I'm rooted and still on stock. First you need Root Explorer. Go into /system/media/audio/ui. Look for the file camera_click.ogg. Rename it to camera_click.bak. Make sure you mount as R/O and not R/W. Silent snaps

i just drag my volume bar until vibrate .. no sound when taking picture .. alot have fell victim ahah .. no ham sup ones though so dont ask for pics. stock gnex no root root all

Maybe regional firmware different? Some country phone must got sound mah. Malaysia is half half one.

guys... thanks blessed that last night i successfully flash it into CNA 3.6 but with stock kernel. Everything go smoothly but then problem is the battery issue now.. maybe there is tweak or what i can improve battery life..any idea from u guys???
Regarding data usage, i open "data usage" and under that option, i select those apps that i dont wan to run data in background and tick the "Restrict background data". I restrict especially instagram, browser, flipboard... but i let it run with whatsapp, and play store, something like that. Any additional data tips i hope u guy can share me a bit ya... cause i have 1gb only. previously from iphone, so 1gb is more than enuf for me... not sure if android is a data hogger....XD
Next, is the notification. I have problem with whatsapp notification. Previously in iOS iphone, I can disable notification for ONLY group chat while letting single personal notification ON. But i dont see option in android whatsapp. My group is very noisy and i believe it consume A LOT of battery if it continues like this... my On screen time is 1h 18m from 100%->65%. not sure is normal or scary battery jiuce sucker. any idea? thanks guys : )

kinda normal for an hour 18 mins with 35% battery consumption , the longest i got was 3 hours 40 mins OST (on screen time ) with 10% with wifi and 3g heavy usage ( using tasker to automate it )

but then the whatsapp... the crazy group of my friend are just too crazy... under whatsapp... under group notification... i silent the sound, i off the led incation, i off anything possible under "group notification"... but i still constantly getting notified pop up in my notification... which mean it feeds data in....indirectly... eat my batt life dramatically... if ur group chat is active like 1 chat per 10secs or sumtin n ur concern on ur battery life, i suggest u leave that grup :-).. or silent it for 8 hours at least..

Correct, when phone silent there is NO shutter sound.
For me I don't want to go set it to silent, then take a pic, then unsilent it again. So i just muted the damn thing. Sorry if I misunderstood you guys.

the best thing about lean over faux is that once sr is off, downclock to 740 ranges are possible with same smooth perfomance. faux cannot do that for me.
lean kernel so far give me best battery life, 3hr on screen time for 3g....

turn off data sync and off the notification in whatsapp then silent your phone, it should help
if the screen on turn on when got notification then the battery consumption will be very low

these are not needed. believe me.. itz made for lower spec phones or older models.

if possible reduce sampling rate time, and increase timer rate. reduce boost rate and if u purchased kernal modders, set up threshold to 40-60% range, and not 80% defult.

just a note, don undervolt unless u know how or know wat are u doing..
if not ur phone might be hanging and freezing a lot...
plus undervolt doesnt really save much of battery life

u're on stock rite, seeing u got conservative gover umm for now, just stick to conservative, and set max 900mhz min, as low as u can. then read more be4 u start ulv and tweaking

not worth to undervolt, underclock is better as you might get freeze or crash only, undervolt might make your Gnex cannot boot up if i crash suddenly

custom kernel allow you to adjust the clock rate, voltage and color, if you dont adjust the clock rate and the kernel by default is running at the default clock of Gnex then i doubt you will get any power savings
flashing kernel is the same as flashing custom rom, but take lesser time, just make sure you cleared the cache and dalvik cache before flashing

put your phone to airplane mode and use only wifi or 3G can save battery life as well

i really suggest u to test 1 by 1 and test it ur self instead of flash many of them without a proper testing
different phone, different value. you need to test ur self. doesnt mean a user who use lean kernel and have a battery battery and when u use it you will have better battery.
its all up to how you use the phone . try out different kernel . mix and match. undervolt. underclock.

No problem with your setup actually because you're not messing with the CORE VOLTAGES. You're just limiting the highest clock rates and lowest clock rates. So, it should be stable out of the box.

Was waiting at bus stop, open Google now, it asked me to take U24 and say arrival in XX mins. Bus arrived a bit earlier but consider the time for passengers to get on then it's accurate! Even tell me ETA by taking public transport. Ownhere map thou. Press navigate then show me where the bus stops and where I need to walk. Neat enough!

things are different in AUS, malaysia dont even have street view =(
the best thing about lean over faux is that once sr is off, downclock to 740 ranges are possible with same smooth perfomance. faux cannot do that for me.

I had same problem with u. Easy to settle. Hehe. U go to setting, then under wireless n network, select more, then select mobile networks. go to access point name, then select the second one, Celcom Internet, which is celcom.net.my.. Choose that one. Don't select celcom3g.. Select celcom.net.my.. Then speed faster liao.

bad rolling shutter compare to ip5 and panning is just weird on the lumia if nokia lumia is that good you probably will see many people using it already
Didn't notice that. But obviously image stabilization is a lot better in lumia

I messed with that about 1 month back. Then get into bootloop. Now haven't try after new updates. Tweaking it can make the light adapts to environment very fast. Like every second it detects and changes the brightness according to it.

not good to put the interval to 1 sec... battery drain like nuts. i dun use auto brightness again so not much use for me.
One question about the CNA Rom, is there any custom kernel included in the rom? the custom kernel will be automatically flashed to the phone when we flash the CNA Rom? Sorry for the noob question.

Yes, either faux or lean (can't remember) is included with the ROM. It will be flashed with the ROM.

is there anyway to set a limit on auto brightness setting?
like i notice that no matter how dark is the place, auto brightness wont change to 0% brightness. then i would like to limit the maximum brightness it can go to 60%.
anyway to do that?

Howdy guys, purchased Asphalt 7 at USD 0.25 last nite, (done it at 2.30 am, RHB Bank officer call me to verify the purchase) download & install [took almost 4 hours] BUT kenot open upon completion, uninstall this morning, download & install again BUT STILL kenot open, fed up to do it again for the 3rd time coz it took so long to get it done on my "beloved Streamyx" ... Anybody experience the same problem? My Gnext is on JB, by deway miss out on the Ocean HD as the price back to normal from this morning... Good day guys

if u use custom rom n have custom brightness setting, u can adjust it to suit urself.. else, u can get LUX app.
