Hello all, I installed the tap tap app to preserve the power button life... but does this apps will damage the proximity sensors since it have to be on all the time?

8 hours of heavy usage ON-Screen time or just 8 hours total time? if on-screen time then its either you are joking around, or you are trolling.

Hi guys, I just updated my JB to 4.1.2 through OTA and i realized the Superuser app has been denied access by itself. So, i can't really use proxydroid on my nexus because it says i need to root my device. As far as i concern, my device is rooted.

So, any solution to this?

on screen yea...maybe on your level not too heavy usage but i don't know though.... I'm quite noob in smartphones which is why I'm asking silly questions. I mostly used it to surf news website and chatting. Not too hardcore like gaming and playing video la.

i check my battery usage also show more than 90% on screen.

6 hours seems quite sensible haha.
My phone usually takes 3 hours to charge but it never goes beyond 99. Is that normal?

My phone stuck at 4.1.1. System update shows nothing new though constantly checking.
on a side note, i dont see many girls using galaxy nexus. I wonder why. My friends all use iphone.

oh.. so thats what you guys mean by on screen time. Been using my phone for 4 hours plus but on screen time shows only 2 hours sth. If like that, 6 hours memang make sense :-)

my on screen time shows 2 hours plus when i still have 50% battery left.. so on a rough estimate, max on screen time should go up to 4-5 hours. (I guess?)

You damn geng. I bought my Nexus for one week then only unlock and flashed JB from... Shit I forgot the name... Anyway... It's JB image from GNex they get from Google I/O but rooted and deodexed. I seriously forgot the name. Basically stock 4.1 without any mods.

Arh... Remembered the name... It's Bigxie.
Then flashed Bigxie 4.1.1

Then moved on to Euroskank AOKP. Flashed N-time updates of Euroskank AOKP since july~august. Ever jumped to CNA once but some customization available on AOKP wasn't there in CNA (I think it's there now) so I switched back to AOKP on the same day. Don't feel like trying CM10

That intel processor just Single core. Even if it multitasks, so called "hyper-threading". Means one core can process two task at same time. 1 Core 2 Thread.
Then normal mobile CPU no "hyper-threading" but dual core or quad core. Means one core process one task also 2/4 tasks at the same time. If you get what I mean. 4 core 4 thread.

If you check back some i5 processor, some of them is quad core but 4 core 4 threads. i7 also quad core but 4 cores 8 threads.

Something known as parallel computing or whatsoever. I'm so tired. Tired training day

Gonna start with rooting and convert from JB yakjuxw to Yakju.

But which one should i do first, rooting or converting?
