NO.. not the spark plug as everytone thought

The spark plug is just to IGNITE the fuel mixture within the combusion ..
When the fuel ignite .. it create a WAVE .. the WAVE is the energy that pushes the piston downwards ..
Keypoint is the WAVE! not the ignition .. Imagine like a bom ..


Okay .. when the PISTON is on the TOP .. we call it TOP DEAD CENTER(TDC) .. when at the bottom we call it ..  BOTTOM DEAD CENTER (BDC)

you dont ignite the fuel when it is at TDC .. why ??? bcoz the fuel need to burn to create the wave .. @ slight lag ..
so we ignite it BTDC .. BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER ..

You get max POWER when the fuel mixture burn and complete its burn ngam ngam when the piston reach TDC .. this will cause the wave to have full force power and push the piston downwards ..
if burning too early (the wave fully form) before reach TDC .. it will create Knocking .. the piston cannot return down one .. it must reach TDC before it goes back down .. so the wave and the piston bergaduh .. (knocking)

if ignition too late .. the wave created way ATDC (After Top dead center) .. the wave power not fully utilize (original map)
OKay .. all tat is made for simple understanding .. COPY PUNYA LA DUN ASK ME ..

Okay .. now wat is to do with the timing just now ..
we have dyno and tested to a safe zone where we can create more power for the same amount of fuel without too much stress on it ..
so on a SAME MAP .. if your fuel burn faster .. means u create the wave faster ... so its like an effect of advancing the timing ..
the slower it burn .. means it takes longer time to create the wave form...

Now tat is different from RON meaning ..
RON meaning explain next time .. opss .. copy next time .. Soli ..

Bore = Diameter .. width of a piston .
Stroke = how much distance the piston travel from TDC to BDC

4B10 -> Bore = 86mm  Stroke = 77.4mm
4B11 -> Bore = 86mm  Stroke = 86 mm
4B12 -> Bore = 88mm  Stroke = 97 mm

Calculation pretty simple ..
PI x ((Bore / 2 )^2)/1000 x (stroke) x (number of piston)

PI is constant = 3.142

take 4B10 as example ..

(3.142) x ((86/2)^2)/1000 x (77.4) x (4)
(3.142) x ((43)^2)/1000 x (77.4) x (4)
(3.142) x (1.849) x (309.6)
= 1798 cc ...

4B11 as follow ....
(3.142) x ((86/2)^2)/1000 x (86) x (4)
(3.142) x ((43)^2)/1000 x (86) x (4)
(3.142) x (1.849) x (344)
= 1998cc ...
TADA!

Now .... story can continue ..
increase either BORE SIZE or STORKE will increase the capacity ..
due to the reason 4B10 / 4B11 same block but diff stroke kit ..
that is why 4B10 can stoke it up to 4B11 spec!

Longer stroke .. engine slower response ..
