Oh! something wrong in your CWM then.

1) not much change except the CSC or MODEM -> contain things about network/carrier setting. doesnt matter you want to wait or not cause both the same, both can be use daily.

2) its always strongly recommend to backup your contacts,sms,apps. you will lost root and your siyah kernel if you are using odin to glash, if you use wanam rom, you only lose siyah

3)nandroid included everything from kernel to system to apps to setting. titanium backup only apps and the apps data. yes titanium is enough, most people here usually only use titanium,

4)i havent heard any incompatibly yet. so yes you can root it back

1) Nothing much different between Polish and M'sian firmware except its modem and language availbility.

2) Always do both Titanium AND Nandroid backup before flashing any firmware upgrade.
Titanium - incase it's a wipe firmware then you can easily re-
install your apps again.
Nandroid - incase shit happen OR you dislike your new firmware then you can restore everything back as before you you flash the new firmware.

3) If you flash official firmware via PC Odin then you will lose your root and need to re-root again. Either you flash using MobileOdinPro OR you flash wanam rom that comes with pre-root if you intend to keep your root.

1) Im not sure what is modem in this case, diff modem still can use here right? language ar... english and chinese got or not? I normally use these 2 languages only..

My guess is the modem is for poland. But there is no reason why you can't change the modem separately after flashing the rom. Also the stock rom modem usually works. Although from what i am told it's not optimized for Malaysia.




Siyah hasn't made a kernel for this new official jb yet. don't use siyah for now is my recommendation. Wait first for Siyah to comment on if it work or not.





just use titanium backup for applications with data only (not to be confused with system data which is something else).

I never bother with nandroid :/




It won't be unrooted, assuming the root method you chose is same like mine which was CF-Root with Odin 3 (PC).

you need to create the nandroid backup yourself recovery -> backup and restore

finally on wanam's 3.7.
before this on official got sluggish here and there.
on 3.7 everything is smooth

I dont think Polish firmware got Chinese language. M'sia or SEA region firmware normally got Chinese language.

Nandroid - either use CWM app OR use three button combo
(vol up + power + home button). Navigate to backup and restore. There you can do your Nandroid backup.

explanation got lost because incomplete.

I mean the deodexed version of the stock everytime a jb leak came out, people like wanam would later cr8 a deodexed version .... probly should have explained better what i meant

wanam by the way released 2 versions.

the first was the regular official jb leak which he deodexed.

the second one which i'm using is his wanamlite version of the official jb, which has his usual tweaks.
