Yes you can direct flash official LIB over LG8. Better do wipe your data cache and dalvik first before flashing LIB.
You also can do Nandroid backup for your LG8 then wipe data cache and dalvik then flash LIB

I think when flash with MobileOdin will get unknown CSC and maybe your keyboard got problem coz of that also.?
Try clear your keyboard data OR reflash back JB LIB via OC Odin

Does your phone rooted and have CWM recovery..?
If you have CWM recovery then you can do Nandroid backup via three buttons combo (vol up + home + power button).
Once you on CWM recovery > backup and restore > do your Nandroid backup.
For wipe > CWM recovery > wipe cache partition
Then go back into CWM recovery > advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
I think you will lose your app and data..so better do Titanium backup for your app and data. After flashing download and install back Titanium app from market then you can restore back all your apps and data.

If your binary counter already increase then use TriangleAway first to reset back to zero. After that just flas official M'sian firmware using PC Odin. This will un-root your phone back to official and normal condition.

Using Kies will un-root your phone. I dont think it will erase your app and data if you update via Kies. I might be wrong thou coz i never use Kies before tongue.gif

Can..you will get root and CWM recovery only. But no CWM Manager app as it not fully compatible with JellyBean firmware at the moment.

Let Samsung service centre check the phone first. Sometimes it's true that something inside also broke due to the fall and need to be change also. You just need to trust them.
Btw..they will give you a quotation first before they proceed the real repair/service. You can still refuse and take back the phone if you disagree on the price.

SMemo is Samsung TWbased app. Means stock and TWbased custom roms can have it. AOSP based custom roms normally use SNote as SMemo wont work for them.
