QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Sep 26 2012, 12:45 AM) is extremely recommended i've never tried the leaked JB firmwares before, so the stock JB from poland is my first time using JB.now feel my phone is more smooth, ICS already smooth now this smooth don't know how to say even previously leak version also very smooth, but official more smooth 1 word, awesome I'm really surprised by how smooth it is compared to ICS. Even CM10 on my friend's S2 isn't THIS smooth. Heck, I've never even thought any smartphone could be as smooth as THIS. Quadcore + JB = GOOD |

QUOTE(silentser @ Sep 26 2012, 12:57 AM) im jump around aokp/cm10/stock alwiz, somehow i always feel my phone smooth i uninstalled most of the samsung bloatwares (allshare, chaton, etc). I wonder how it feels like using AOKP but the trade off is big, you dont have any special featuer of S3, and the camera is abit sucky on AOSP |

I realised JB takes up some battery when idle
I seem to get about 5% battery drain with stock poland JB, compared to only 1-2% drain on previous malaysian stock ICS when idle maybe it's something about poland's JB that's incompatible with ours. Hopefully malaysian JB will optimize everything This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Sep 28 2012, 11:10 AM |

QUOTE(rickk @ Sep 28 2012, 11:48 AM) this game is even awesome than birds game. =D i agree that JB is quite power saving in normal use.yea? i found out that JB poland is quite save power compare with msia ICS... I play a game with ICS last time, one hour+ consumed around 20-30% while using JB now, same game same duration only drain >10%!! regarding idle stil drain power, I don't think so, when my phone idle (with JB), 1-2hours onli 2-3%. this is based on what I observe la. might hv diff with diff ppl. =) that's why it makes me wonder why it drains more battery than ICS when idle and my definition of idle (for myself) is leaving my phone unplugged, overnight for about 8 hours without use. usually with ICS, i only get about 1% drain. but with JB, i get about 5% drain This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Sep 28 2012, 12:06 PM |

Excellent game, i've been playing the free version for awhile now, buying it to support the developers. It's exactly like Tiny Wings on iphone that i used to miss playing on my ipod This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Sep 29 2012, 01:17 PM |

QUOTE(rickk @ Sep 29 2012, 02:16 PM) Seriously guys, I think jb Poland isn't stable yet? I put my s3 idle at night, from 3am-12pm.. the battery from 100%→83%!! How come? this was exactly what i was saying. And ytd, I'm using Google map for around 30mins only, my phone was hot like hell man! Battery area and also screen area. ; ( Does somebody here same with me? Advise needed... battery drain somehow alot during idle. i have betterbatterystats, so far it pointed to google maps for the partial wakelocks. i just tweaked the settings of google maps today, gonna see if it improves battery idle This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Sep 29 2012, 04:49 PM |

Running 4.1.1 JB stock Poland
I killed the apps that i suspected made my phone drain battery when idle. But still, i'm getting 10% battery drain from 12hours of idle.. I used to only get about 2-3% of battery drain after 12hours of idle on 4.0.4 stock. Hmmm |

QUOTE(nicregi @ Sep 30 2012, 02:54 PM) i found that maps WAS the main cause for the partial wakelocks. I tweaked the settings for maps and it stopped showing up in partial wakelocks. (tweaking the settings for maps really did eliminate the wakelocks that can be seen in the battery graph) But i'm still getting battery drain when idle.. the top attribute for partial wakelocks in BBS is "audio_out". I'm gonna try turning off all of the keypad sounds / unlock sounds in the settings and see how it goes tonight This post has been edited by YouDontKnowMyName: Sep 30 2012, 03:00 PM |

Hey guys, as most of you know, when your device battery drops below 5%, somehow the phone will become extremely power saving (provided power saving mode is on the whole time).
I'm just wondering, is it possible to make the phone be in that state of extreme power save the WHOLE time? (e.g from 100% battery onwards) The battery drops really slowly when within the 5% to 1% remaining range |
