It's already 6-1 anyway nothing much to celebrate, dying minutes somemore.

The second goal of Walcott shows glimpse of Henry's class...

What a goal by Chambo!

No... Ox's shot is not even close to Henry's volley, the difficulty of receiving the pass in such perfection and shooting it to the top right corner from that angle is just pure class and require perfect first touch

Edit: And you don't expect Gervinho to be able to deliver that kind of goal sweat.gif

It starts to feel weird when Wenger is not fielding the line-up we expected but still is a quite workable team. We actually have players we can rotate laugh.gif

We played quite poorly... The goal was a class finish but I think it's just lucky Chelsea left so much space for Gerv

You would also say that with Per on we might not have conceded the goal given his big body block

The French pair hugely disappointed us tonight. Kos single-handedly won the game for Chelsea and Giroud did a Torres sweat.gif

Frankly, only Jenkinson carried on his form. Gibbs and Podolski lost their Chemistry, Ramsey energetic but pressured and misplaced passes, Cazorla suffocated by their midfield and we had a hard time chasing back the ball.

It's hard to swallow but I guess it was okay, we didn't play well enough to deserve the victory, a draw is a fairer result but credit to Chelsea for playing well in 1st half.

He can play as CB too but just one bad match in such a long time and you want him out?

Not denying that he's piss poor tonight though

dont blame giroud, that angle was not easy to score. he did his best
*
It'd take an in form and world class striker to be able to convert that on every occasion and Giroud frankly is neither of that at the moment. Every other mistakes like this will probably be forgiven like Gervinho hat trick misses last week against City, it's just that we we're trailing and his miss was magnified...

Kudos to Cech for a very good performance

I think we will need to play Giroud more. We need to have a consistent striker if we want to win anything.

At the moment, Giroud is the most viable choice as he has all the components needed to be a successful striker, he just needs more game time to gain more confidence. His first touch and vision is still there but he needs more composure now in front of goal to score.

Poldi could play CF but he's better as a LW as he can defend together with Gibbs. Gervinho doesn't defend as well as Poldi and given Gibbs more attacking style these days, its better to have someone like Poldi to cover him.

Sad that Diaby got injured but I thought it's still quite promising. Sagna, Wilshere and Rosicky are coming back and I thought Rosicky can play as a CM and replace Diaby.

Perhaps Wilshere and take over Cazorla's position and we can play Cazorla on right flank. Right flank has always been a weak link in our team as Walcott was too inconsistent. Cazorla's crosses will definitely be more effective than Walcott's and then we can rely on Giroud to head in those goals!
