Guys,
I plan to make a 3feet x 2 feet x 2feet marine tank with sump tank
It will be heavily planted with corals.
What is the recommended pump flow rate I should get?
What is SPS and LPS?

Woot Woot
Haha so coincidence. I plan to start my marine tank too after I move to my own house beginning of next year
So now doing research and learning

I know it is not your tank. But I wish you can document and share out your experience when you make your own marine later.
Eg: how to put sand bed, how to stack rocks, flow rate, equipment needed

Any idea where to get T5HO with 10000K?
I don't prefer light tube from LFS because normally they overcharging

for your information, all the stuffs in marine tank are REAL, not human made. meaning sand, stones, corals, fishes, shrimps are from wild or captive breed.
Same goes to fresh water planted tank. smile.gif

Anyone fitting DIY 3W LED lights for their tank?

I have a Nanocube 10Galllon, planning to fit 14LEDs in it.
Anyone DIY LED from aquastyleonline.com? Very good reviews over at nano-reef.com

i going to do so for my freshwater planted tank.
it would be much easier to design if you put 12x3W LED for your aquarium. is it fresh water or marine?
what is the color temperature you prefer?

defaultname365:
you need to cycle your tank for at least 2months, wait for caroline algae to start growing before you buy any fish.
DO NOT listen to those workers especially from larger fish shop such as East Aqua. They do not understand how the system works.
Do more reading before you restart your tank. i hope you are lucky enough to brought the correct equipments.
Google "reef central" for more information. I am not sifu, but i read a lot about keeping corals in past 1year. havent got the courage and money to start my marine tank yet,
