mature tank is after 5,6 months.
if u want to play reef than study first, not everything can keep, else you will just be flushing $$ into the toilet bowl.

yeah... the previous owner had keep the tank for more than a year... then i buy everything, and i even recycle the water 100%. so, basically my tank is mature right? i really want to study.. but i'm not sure where to begin with.... where can i get the information???.. the previous owner do tell me alot of things, but i cant absorb every thing in 1 night... forgot many things already... btw, my tank is only 2ft tank... huhuh..

once u move it, the cycle will start again, so for first 2 weeks don't add any new things.
get a test kit to check KH, NO3 & Calcium, that's all u need.

u also can snap photo and list out what u have, we can give u some advice.

yeah.. i tent to keep it that way for a month,huhuhuh.. the longer the better right?.. ok, yesterday I bought my self PH test kit, and Ammonia test kit and a thermometer. Result: PH is around 8.1, Ammonia 0 ppm, temp 31.4 (lowest) 32.7 (highest). huhuhu.. Where i can get all the NO3, calcium test kit?... very hard to find lo... huhuh.. not all pet and aquarium shop sell those thing. My plan for this weekend, is to install a fan, at least 3 to reduce the temperature, is it necessary? or i just need to spend on chiller? huhuh..

PH will swing, temp u must keep it 26-28c, over 30 will kill ur live stock, ammonia spike very easily happen.
got the budget straight go for chiller noneed fan. new 1 can get hailea will cost u around 850-950
2nd hand mostly is resun going for rm500-600 range depends.
go to oeanic puchong, u will get most of the things u need there.
*
huhuh.. this month budget is over already... can my live rock survive for a month at temp 31?... huhuh... can u explain, what is "ammonia spike"?.. expensive chiller, can it be use if later on I want to change to 3ft? Sorry if i'm asking to many question, really interested, but dumb. huhuh...

cl650 can support up to 4ft not an issue

go get a fan than.
ammonia is poison to ur live stock, if temp high, ammonia will turn even more poison
where ammonia come from? overfeeding food, die fish, bioload too high etc
most chiller can support up to 4ft, we only need to bring down 3,4c from room tempreture.

ok, i'll DIY this weekend. Yesterday, my aquarium reach up to 32.7... arrrggghhh.. dont know how to reduce the temp.... so technically, if I put 3 big CPU fan, it will be enough, right?

1 fan is enough, too many your water will vapor too fast and result more worst because salinity will swing also.
fan just blow the heat from the light away and cool down max 2-3c, with more fan still the samething

owh.. like that ha?.. ok... right now i'm using my table fan.. hahahaha... big one... result now 30.3.... better la....
