i agree its a reasonable price. the spec is beyond awesome for its price.

i was using tab10.1, it was a such a failure. weird that people thinks its the closest ipad2 competitor.
apple is wasting its sources suing it. tab10.1 is slow, tegra2 is useless. everything is sluggish especially on honeycomb.
upgrade to ics also its lag and way slower than ipad2. root,overclock,custom rom, everything you do also it is slower than ipad2. wasted rm1499 on that crap.

right after i watch google IO, i immediately sold my tab10.1. the money enough to buy a nexus 7.
although the screen size downgrade, but i never regret. its really fast and no more waiting or see frames being skipped.
besides, the resolution is 1280x800, not crappy 1024x600.

it feels like changing from a 14inch laptop with single core atom processor to a 10inch netbook with intel i7.
overall usage speed & pleasure is more important than screen size.

duno why so many people unhappy about the price, at this price range, the only option left is the galaxy tab2 7 inch.
that lauya tab, just scroll homescreen, unlock, enter app tray also lag lag one. screen resolution so low, haiz, once touch it for one minute no appetite to use already. (ya it got micro sd and 3g, but the UI so lag and slow, ruin the whole experience.)

just wana add a point here, nvidia and asus originally announced the memo 370t at the beginning of the year with the price tag of $249, google is the one that came in and lower the price to $199. IMO, I think google subsidize asus to lower the price of the tablet so they can increase their share in the tablet market. Google planned to make up for their loss by earning from the sales of apps, music, games, movies, ebooks and advertising. And we can't compare it with apple products cause the seller cannot overprice an overpriced product. In the end is up to ur opinion to decide which to buy. If you gt lots of money and want premium products, go for prime or apple. u like external storage tab 2 7.0. u like quad core, butter and google support, nexus 7. Low budget, china brand such as ainol.
