Otherwise, if the stains aren't too old, some Goof Off or washing detergent might work.

First of all, I was not referring to using Autosol on the anodized surfaced outside. That's plain idiotic.
I meant on the inside, which is bare aluminium, and I've tried it on my PCI blank slot covers which always picks up fingerprints, it works great. If you're referring to the exterior surface, I don't know. I usually use this foaming window cleaner to wipe it everytime I touch it.
