# the main differences separate this from early Yes prepaid (expensive) plan are:
1) no more compulsory minimum spending RM30/month.
2) unused data quota can be bring forward to next month

but still can't continue surfing after quota finished (not unlimited with throttled speed)

1Malaysia plan is also similar to SKMM plan right?

Yes is using wimax wireless technology, not 3G technology. 3G modem not for wimax or vice-versa. (we actually don't call Wimax as 4G, just another wireless standard, but marketing strategy...)

also, can't use generic wimax device bcoz they seems all been hardcoded into the firmware - Yes vs P1, cannot be used interchangeable even between the 2 local wimax operators. for yes wimax, only can use yes own wimax device.

Yes. You can use it to pair with your iPad. I'm using Huddle pairing with my iPad, so far so good.

already asked, yes available now.

but it not like we buy 3g simpack that way.

we need to get Yes account first, let say buy the Yes Dongle prepaid pack with RM50 credit, then only can start using this 1Malaysia plan RM25.

good thing is their sale staff already well informed about this latest 1Malaysia/SKMM plan, unlike in the case of 3G telco even customer service center don't know what u talk about when mentioning skmm plan that time.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!funken shiaatt..i change from valuepack 68 to 1malaysia valuepack autorenewal only my data carried foward!! my sms n voice only on net 100minute...where i supposed to have 1200min voice and 820 smses!! CALLED yes support they say will carry foward..

but in autorenew valuepack faq General no 10:

10. Is there any expiry for the Valuepack?......The validity of the Valuepack is for 30 days OR when the data, SMS and voice services covered in the Valuepack has been fully utilised, whichever comes first. However, you can rollover any unused services in the current month by simply extending the validity of the Valuepack to the next month. This can be done by purchasing another Valuepack of the same value or more before the expiry of the current Valuepack. However, if you do not purchase another Valuepack by the end of the expiry of the current Valuepack, all unused services will expire.

Note:
For the 1Malaysia Valuepack – you must purchase the same Valuepack to carry forward your current SMS and Voice Balance on top of your Data.
For Valuepack 68 and 150 – you must purchase either one of these Valuepacks to allow your data, SMS and voice balance to be carried forward. rclxub.gif shocking.gif rclxub.gif shakehead.gif

y u no put at disclaimer valuepack25??!!!! mad.gif

so means to carry forward data, voice and sms, must be buying the same valuepack or upgraded pack. if downgrade, the voice & sms are gone, right?
