veritas spinning rod is damn light, as if u're holding paper but i heard its quite fragile, my gf is using but so far no prob..

puchong prima got a lot PB, thing is, as i've read from other blogs and forums, u got to take a boat out to the small "island" in the middle there, it seems there PB damn a lot. i've given up hope on this lake , every lures u throw in, the haruans and tomans there know exactly the brand of the lure lol...

puchong got too many lakes and ponds for me to miss out this one from the map, i've gone to a lot of them, but catch rate really sucks, or maybe my skill "beh ki", haha..btw if we have parangs and phua chu kang boots, there is a place i really wanna explore, looks to me like a virgin lake/pond, but very hard to go in, thick jungle terrain

Added on September 20, 2012, 6:50 pmwent check out this pond b4 oso, quite small, but i stand there for like half and hour, 0 activity seen, side oso kenot c any small fish, very quiet, never cast in though. its actually inside a parking area, meaning u can basically park ur car right next to the water, easy access, if got fish i think shud b crowded but no one is fishing there. anyone tried b4, pls conform, i oso hope puchong still got HOPE..haha

might go to the small pond 2molo evening after work, c how..about the bigger ones, have to go with a few kakis, if not really scared, ahaha..who got grass cutter? lol
the bigger one i will say, by the look of it, one of the most promising in puchong..but until we try, we'll never know

i think we'll do quite a lot of bottom oso, 40-60 pound mono leader, preferably tied nicely b4 we go, if not kelam kabut there.
seasick pills to take 1 hour b4 we leave out to sea ya, and another dose after 6 hours. i'll bring some junk food just in case if anyone seasick
camera, cuz we gonna take damn a lot of them fishes..

good morning!! going for jigging trip now

whole body aching from the trip, disappointed no biggies, and its a 8 hours travelling go n back
actually yesterday boatman ah hon got a massive pull, his reel was screaming like wanna break, but only very short time, and he was playing with apollo next to the rod.. tak sempat to strike, took up the bait, still there..lol, if he were to get tat fish probably will attract the group to come..tough luck
all in all fun trip, but i damn tulan with the old man, throwing rubbish into the sea and mumbling, blaming us saying we throw rubbish on his boat, but we were actually putting all into 1 plastic bag to throw later when we're back and he shud change place when there're no fish
only thing great about the trip is 1dollar's sandwich, damn power!!

ahh damn why didnt we pull up some nice tenggiri..
gotta arrange another trip guys, and not tat old boatman again,haha

we actually didnt expect massive fish, thus gear was not so heavy, only medium to medium heavy rod and 2000-6000 reel, shud be able to tahan till 10kg fish, more than tat, problem

my fren went kuantan deep sea, 3d2n 300++ per person (only boat+food), and the tekong will cook nice nice seafood for them. all sorts of fish including sharks, snapper, grouper, tenggiri etc etc.. and they managed to hook up 1 sailfish, but line broke when they tried to bring it up, 1 rod broke, 1 rod flew out to sea. shall we organise 1 trip there? can fit arond 10 person if not mistaken, and no, they didnt use electric reel

bro 1dollar, u shopping for jigging trip?
went port klang last weekend instead of the planned OFB cuz got some frens aeroplane, so have to go with smaller boat.. managed some good size "sa chui" as bait, then while going to boatman's "secret lubok", suddenly we hit something and the engine cover flew off... boatman say we cant go fast and far, scared enjin kena air, so have to patah balik
but we learned a lot from the boatman, and his secret places all didnt disappoint, just we didnt managed to get to the final big fishes place, he said snapper there min 7kg, not sure how true but from how he tell of stories, he;s very experienced, and a lot ghost stories from deep sea fishing trip lol.. 30-60lb rod (if not mistaken), bent like hell during a deep sea trip, and when they pulled it up after close to an hour, found a ring in the hook, and ntg else, threw it back, again kena, 3 times lol..
