Haiiihhzz,.. did a read up on gloomis,.. apparently the GL2 & GL3 series are low range and not worth paying.
Only good gloomis rods are the IMX, GLX and NRX series, which cost over 1k. there goes my gloomis dream.
Now can swtich to Abu hornet stinger hahaha

Nah i am looking for a UL or L spinning rod 6'6" to 7 ft. Thats my priority now. When Abu 2013 masuk my shelf then only i go pening the BC rod.

there memang got pb, just a matter of attracting them only. but better bite rates than pch prima.

most agree jdm and mij stuffs are better in quality, but as a consumer, I only believe in bang buck items as long it lands fishes.
jdm and mij are so expensive, its like exclusive & luxury. Its like trying to save up for a ferrari or a lambo or aston, but a gtr35 can also do the job of being fun

Last check 2 months ago was RM37 for 150yd (just double the price for 300yd). Dont know if got 4 lbs or not.
SS2 selling at RM39 (after discount) if i am not wrong.

I'll be going tomorrow if my kaki is free. need to gear up salty for this weekend jigging trip.

UL anglers are small and demand are less, only Daiwa L rod would be the crossbeat.

Water depth: 40ft ~60ft (shallow)
Jig weight: 40~60gram
Action: Popping, casting and jigging
Cost: RM115 per pax. Max out at 7pax.

This is what i propose.
Since it's only shallow water, thus need not extreme size reel or extreme rods. It would not be tiring too, cos casting with jigs or lure, it's just light weight. Perhaps i should call this Feather Jigging.. LOL

Rod: 8~17lb
Reel: Any size reel that can contain 100m of 30lb
Line: 25~30lb braid

As for jig, swivel, split rings, solid rings, 7lam of leader per rod will be all kawtim by me. No need to big any jig or terminal tackle, just use mine. If lost, so be it At least i could minimise costing for you guys

In this case, anglers just need to bring rod, reel and line only

2. 13ft fiber boat by RT - fit 3paxs

Just wanna share some info bout Puchong Prima, after speaking to some kaki recently and they were fishing on the wrong side of the lake.
There used to be a lot of fishing spots around the lake but with all the recent land reclaiming and constructions, we are left with just one spot to fish now.

North east of the lake is another hot spot but a lot of rubbish coming from the town drainage system.
See attached pic below.
The yellow box area were hot spots last time but its now all yellow mud soil with active land reclaiming.
If you intend to go fish there, head down south east (red Circle) of the lake where the Asia Water sport pick up point is. Look around for the TNB power station as your landmark.
Fishing boat rental is also at that same spot.

Do go early, splashes activities starts as early as 630am.
