I think this is the Toman and haruan pond my colleague told me of in Putra Perdana.
Will go check it out next weekend. Again,.. can anyone in living in that area confirm this?? No path to the lake, and the jungle terrain looks wild, time to sharpen your parangs and bring some food & drinks to explore. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(faujc99 @ Sep 20 2012, 06:39 PM) puchong prima got a lot PB, thing is, as i've read from other blogs and forums, u got to take a boat out to the small "island" in the middle there, it seems there PB damn a lot. i've given up hope on this lake , every lures u throw in, the haruans and tomans there know exactly the brand of the lure lol... Yeah that small island there is up north side of the lake near the longkang besar part. Heard there a lot of fishes but wont bite. OK cun la,.. now got 2 lakes to go explore heheeh putra perdana and the one you pointed. QUOTE(faujc99 @ Sep 20 2012, 06:47 PM) puchong got too many lakes and ponds for me to miss out this one from the map, i've gone to a lot of them, but catch rate really sucks, or maybe my skill "beh ki", haha..btw if we have parangs and phua chu kang boots, there is a place i really wanna explore, looks to me like a virgin lake/pond, but very hard to go in, thick jungle terrain If you zoom in and enlarge your pic, you can see one small longkang leading to the lake. But from the looks of the pic, those green grassy area may be wet lands and soft soil. Careful when you explore, may be sinking soil. Quite sure the puchong forest reserve got some nice lubuk in there. Theres a waterfall in that forest and nice hiking trail. This post has been edited by 1dollar: Sep 20 2012, 07:20 PM |

will definitely go again, perhaps ask the boat man to suggest another location with more fishes.
Apollo was really fun for first time like me, but after a while i got lazy and tired of unhooking unwanted small fishes. Good to know we had more than enough food and drinks. roughly know how to gauge the amount for the next trip. |

QUOTE(rorytate @ Sep 24 2012, 03:34 PM) Errmm,.... i dont cook with recipe. I dont measure ingredients, all using feeling and agak agak measurements. Hahaha 1kg Potatoes - Local better, cubed Local fresh parsley finely chopped 1 whole Sweet white or yellow onion 1-2 cloves Garlic (pounded or chopped finely) Mayonnaise - 2-3 spoons full Salt and pepper to taste A splash of Malt or Sherry Vinegar (local cheap brands taste very chemically or artificial) boil or steam those potatoes in cubes. Observe the cooking time of your potato cubes, over cook it and it will become mash. depending on the volume of water when boiling (add salt into the water) may take up to 15-20 mins or so. Chop all other stuffs (onion and parsley and garlic) mix it all and serve. Goes very well if you mix in some roasted unsalted walnuts may it be chopped or crushed. Smoked chicken sausages also goes well , just chop some and add in with the mix. another recipe you wanna try would be buttered potato wedges with parsley and dill (like kenny rogers) This post has been edited by 1dollar: Sep 24 2012, 05:26 PM |

QUOTE(vince316 @ Sep 25 2012, 03:06 PM) THanks for the update bro, you working in Jebsen & jebsen ar??Yeah need to get some Aile too nice lures. ,.. alamak sure pokai la if go. last visited to get the yozuri arm popper, it was no where cheaper compare to ss2 tackle and red hot. Hope the warehouse sale will be below the dealer's price. Yeah i heard yozuri and duel no more with sea tackle also, think might clear all those old stock. Added on September 25, 2012, 3:23 pm QUOTE(trowachin @ Sep 25 2012, 02:46 PM) it's been a long time since my last visit to sea tackle. yes bro, same small size like the Aile but heavier. Nicer to cast in my opinion. wander got 50 size? i forgot where i read recently that duel not under sea tackle anymore... or there's another distributor carrying duel... <- anyone can verify? else... i'll be there coming 4th oct also... what time they close a? gotta go hunt for the aile magnet diet... Cheapest in town would be SS2, going for RM9 each. They ran out of stock, someone gasak every piece when i was there last week. Its Ofmer Wander 50 not lucky craft ok. QUOTE(trowachin @ Sep 25 2012, 03:33 PM) the last i went was some 1 or 2 years ago. that time i already think their price not worth shouting low. Other tackle shops going for 10-11 bucks each. So i think the cost may be like RM6-8.just did a search.. it's ofmer wonder. they look the same with the LC... later you go Seatackle see them selling at rm9.50 per piece... hahaha... Hmmm sunline is by seatackle ar.... wonder if they have the SUnline Sniper FC. I want the 200 yard spool. if not have to purchase from ebay again. |
