Seems to be the most active "fishing forum" in Malaysia so I thought I'd drop by and have a chat with some like minded people.

Normally fish at Tow Foo, Jurassic and Exotic as I live in Menjalara so it's not a bad drive. However catching something in the "wild" rather then stocked is so much more satisfying. Had a trip to Air Kuning last week for Peacock Bass and that was fun. 45cm biggest for the day....and it was a HOT day.....heat wise ....fishing was so so.

Anyways, just saying Hi and hopefully if there's a fishing gathering I would like to join. Malaysia abit hard to find kaki so to speak.

btw rory, sorry bro, no stock on those sizes atm. i'm gonna source for other place.

1 more thing after work i drop by at hasra fishing , the owner restock many lure include gary yamamoto lures

he say in 2 more weeks time more shipment gonna arrive since the store
already expanded to 2 stories

Lovin your idea of carpooling with a proper 4wd. Can bring some porta stove to cook lunch there also.

Last i know benny's car still rosak. He always ask me to drive in myself. Handed me keys to the gate and thruster. Helped myself with the boat.

Sea tackle's fireline is the classical black colored one. Poundage left 10 14 30 and up. The ones i used are pink or fluoro green 2lbs 4lbs. Those not so sticky and the coating not so obvious la. This one selling there... No guarantee. Long long time ago i bought a 30lbs i cannot get used to the coating. Once kena bnest very hard to sort the stuff.

Benny has a few spots. Some not accessible without a 4wd. When I went there were 3 boats out.
And he had another group of japanese fisho's out somewhere. So he has a fair few boats I believe.

bro fisho went that one is pond 1 & 2. the ones you saw on his blog used to be pond 3 and 4 accesible from another entrance which is the oil palm estate. about a year ago that oil palm estate the pak guard closed the entrance d cuz inside got bangla kill bangla body left there 3 days no one found out untill smelly. from the pond 1&2 entrance also can enter to 3 & 4 but to access 3 & 4 (or they say this is Lake Tucunare, where the PB farming took place / bird sanctuary) you seriously need a Pajero equiv level with balls as big as coconut and skills to cross thru a broken concrete slab bridge.

for pond 1 & 2, it's basically sandy potholes which if using a wira, your mudguard behind will be scooping loads of sand / dislodged. after rain the potholes tend to store water and sink in deeper. maneuvering around takes skill. basic requirements Kembara / Jimny / Forester level will do. don't forget that you will need to carry 2 extra car batteries and thruster further lowering your car height...
