That's where the feathers come from. Good flies are not synthetic. I'll grab some bigger jig heads. Put a foam core and tie. That way the sink rate not so fast.
Who wants to be my tester? Lol. I pass to you

QUOTE(trowachin @ Nov 22 2012, 09:35 AM) when upsizing, keep maribou as tail, ditch the chenile and hackle, replace with bucktail and flashibou. Ah.....thanks for the info. Was thinking about that too unless I epoxy the body. will stop them from tangling up with the bend / throat. still a learning process. That was my first. All i knew was that I wanted wooly buggers |

Haha yeah Nick (subang) was asking me to get back into fly again.
Most places I don't see it conducive to fly fishing. Infact he hardly fly fishes in Malaysia anymore too. So will stick to my spinning rod Epoxy looks messy. I beat you with my $2.50 unknown brand from Kepong haha. But might get Elianto. thought they were more expensive to be honest Added on November 22, 2012, 11:16 amSo is Tanjung Tuan a go ahead? Knuckle protector....incase your friend sangkut's you and you need to punch his face! haha
Gloves are indeed handy. Cause a blistered hand or finger will ruin your fishing day. Also protection from Braid. No fun getting cut by braid. By the way had an interesting day with Viox at SS2 tackle shop. Tried the Gomoku Erito once again paired with my reel but doesn't feel right. Reel too big. Settled for a Salty Fighter instead. Still a little bit big but it's ok. Enough for Sailfish So......Tanjung Tuan! Let's go??? haha |

QUOTE(vioxmonsta @ Dec 4 2012, 11:22 PM) Rofl!! Still dont believe me? LOLI dare you.lol Guys I wanna practice my casting accuracy. Should I get a Milo tin and start aiming @ it? or is there any other way? And any reviews on AVAIL shimano parts? Will their custom spool fit for Antares? Coz it shows that it fits for certain shimano bc reels only. Bucket will do la...good for thumb control. after a while it's just muscle memory. or if u have a brother u can do it like us aussies do... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oV8BCp_6MA |
