should be able to.. because the feature was featured in DA2 as well... at least, lets hope we are able to continue our own story line RPG DRAGON AGE: Inquisition, GOTY THREAD.

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Jun 14 2013, 02:08 PM) If you hate EA so much, then vote with your wallets and not play their games. Hopefully EA will realise that they have been making a huge mistake. While pirating just show that you are a hypocrite who hates the company but still want to play their games. what happens if you don't hate bioware, and still love their story line of DA, but hate only EA, making everything DLCs etc etc? |

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Jun 14 2013, 05:08 PM) If you want to play the game, buy the game then. well, let's just see what happens when it launch, because if they did what they did to Maxis (simcity), I might prolly just pirate the game...As much as I hate EA, but when Titan Fall comes to PC, I'll probably pick it up anyway while I'll continue to avoid other EA's franchise. I completely dislike what EA had done to NFS, Bioware, Real Racing and Popcap. That doesnt mean that I can pirate Titan Fall if i just want to play that game. I cant even play properly for few weeks! QUOTE(MYNAMEISJASON @ Aug 22 2013, 01:18 PM) To be entirely honest, the new gameplay looks like a load of shit :/, almost as bad dragon age 2 lol lol, implying they repeat dungeons and sequences for multiple quests than it does looks like DA2... but so far, I don't see that will be implemented in DA:I.. so I think it is going to be great! if not, at least better than DA2...but then, to each their own~ |

QUOTE(MYNAMEISJASON @ Aug 22 2013, 01:39 PM) Man its EA/bioware man, better keep your expectations a bit lower yeah, I had my own problems with EA (origins, and always on policy), but so far Bioware was good devs... I am trying to keep my expectations somewhat lower, but the teasers the pre-alpha gameplay, the possible story line and choices you can affect the world is just making me moar interested to see how this game came up...but ofcorse, there will still be chances that EA-Bioware wll farked up this game |

QUOTE(sai86 @ Aug 22 2013, 01:44 PM) Witcher 2 > DA 2. boleh? haha.. agreed, DA2 really damage the DA brand... DA is great, but not DA2. so if you put series, you are pulling down DA 1 greatness anyway, TS, should help to update all the progress they are making, so moar pipu may be willing to give DA series 1 more chance (I will at least, if they butcher DA:I as well, that's it for DA series) |

QUOTE(Archaven @ Sep 3 2013, 11:01 PM) Yup i had think so. It looks real promising at the moment. But they have stressed it's not true open world. I have no idea why they said so but the environments look huge to me though. It was covered by some hardcore fans...if not mistaken was because Thedas itself is a big world to cover... and for DA:I they will only cover eastern Ferelden to Western Orlais, that itself is already huge, and if you saw the game preview they only pick out a single map region of Crestwood and itself is already huge! not to mention seamless (no loading) between plains and caverns!! fock yeahhh!! |

QUOTE(Archaven @ Sep 4 2013, 10:58 PM) Well let's not be overly too happy.. It could turn out like Witcher 2.. The whole Flotsam is awesome but beyond that wasy like... by all, u mean even the gays? hahaha..But anyway i'm liking what i see already! Frostbite 3 looks awesome. Viviene.. Cassandra.. There's 9 companions total. Can't wait to romance all of them I am trying not to be too happy lest it comes out like DA2... but all these teasers is looking seriously good so far... it's like they really do listen to what the fans want! and that includes no moar whiney companions liek in DA2 (and ofcourse moar choices hopefully, not limited to liek isabela and merrill and the guys) QUOTE(ChocChristy @ Sep 4 2013, 05:16 PM) those attending there are prolly the moar hardcore fans, so reaction like that is expected I guess... QUOTE(Archaven @ Sep 4 2013, 11:43 PM) Lolx.. i hate it so much each time this Zevran in Dragon Age 2 kept on flirting with me.. it was like WTF man, there are a lot of b*tchy characters in DA2, even fenris is like so emotional wreck, used to liek anders in DA:O DLCs (forgot teh name) but in DA2 he turned ghey and liek tried to flirt and if replied with tough feedback he will go to negative feels... wtf is dat????!!! the only cool guy was Varric and I wanted to romance aveline but couldnt... sigh... the fault maybe lies to the lady (I forgot her name) that lead the team to make DA2 |

Looking from the demo gameplay at e3, this looks promising.. However, it was only a short preview.. Mostly on the battles, and inquisition walking around..
This looks nice so far! Really looking forqard to it.. Areas are definitely bigger than DA2.. not sure if anyone has seen this: This post has been edited by helload: Jun 12 2014, 05:30 PM |

QUOTE(malakus @ Jun 12 2014, 05:46 PM) The very reason I haven't pre-ordered it from Origin.. One does not simply pre-order after Mass effect 3 stint. That Halla mount is tempting though.. I'm a sucker for deer themed goodies.. I remembered, mark darrah or 1 of the executives there confirmed that there will be 40 major endings, and other minor endings. Well I think they won't make 40 major endings but 40 minor variations.. After all there will be Human, Elf, Qunari and Dwarf, that alone is 4. Then Warrior, Rogue and Mage. 3 or 2 since warrior and rogue got no details lore separating them unlike mage.. That is about 8 endings? Then choices in DA:O ; Warden fate, who's the king/queen, romance that add about 3,4 endings. DA:A what happened to the architect so that add 2 more endings. Witch hunt, 2 more ending. Dragon age 2, I haven't finish it so I'm assuming 3 endings.. So that's about 19 endings? Doesn't include the DA:I itself.. Lol.. Now I think about it.. Should be more |

QUOTE(malakus @ Jun 12 2014, 06:10 PM) I see that is nice to hear and I do hope it's true. Maybe they do listen to fans and won't repeat ME3. Yes, I believe it is a means to travel faster compare to walking / running... however, I think it is also a means on which you can explore faster ?The obvious 4 possible major endings revolves around the race/background.. So that leaves 36 more. In the video you posted, at 3:46. He mentioned mounts is used for spaces player been through before.. I hope he meant for people who want to travel faster in area they already visited not that mount can only be used in areas player already visited or it as a mean of fast travel... New areas.. You have to walk through it first.. because on another gameplay demo, they also have a fast travel through the map option, kind of like Skyrim (to put it simply), where you can just open the map, and click on the point where you want to go... If that area haven't been explored previously by foot, there is no chance for you to fast travel while on mount as well.. Not too sure on that remarks.. haha.. |

QUOTE(malakus @ Jun 12 2014, 07:50 PM) Lol I had a hard time understanding my post it when I tried to read it back... Man my English need some workout.. don't think that the warden commander will be the final boss.. haha..Well I really hope mount can be used as we wish, at least outdoor. Not as an automated mean of travelling. Like as you mount up, it strode off automatically to a point. Seeing the video, that might not be the case, still mark 3:49 still got me worried. Well, got a few more months to go. I really hope Inquisition got to a same level as Origin as far as character immersion. Dragon Age 2's Hawke.. While he's a cool guy.. Not too attach compared to the warden.. The warden being a character we build from scratch.. The history, the choices.. I must say I'm rooting for DA:I than witcher 3.. Witcher is cool and all, but I'm more attach to a game where I can customize the hell out of the character.. Lol I read we can tweak character attributes from previous game in Dragon Keep.. Is the Warden commander going to be the final boss or something? Or it will determine Leliana, Morrigan and Alistair attributes? most probably is leliana, since she will be 1 of the companion... and perhaps morrigan, as a temporary companion (not too sure)... I only played witcher 2 for like 5 min or so... and find the gameplay a bit of a headache... and stopped... so far I like DA:O, been re-playing it lately, to get ready for DA:I, DA2 was just a good filler, just to sort of follow the story.. haha.. and yes, I do hope DA:I will at least be on par with DA:O, if not, better! It will be fun to know how it goes, as opposed to DA:O where we build up our warden's carrier instead in DA:I we are all ready teh bawse~ lulz... |

QUOTE(Jigoku @ Jun 13 2014, 10:03 AM) I really hope and wish that morrigan son the ancient god thingy either is the hero or the final boss. If the son of the grey + morrigan (depends on your choice in DA:O), that would mess the story line of players who made their grey warden as the ultimate sacrifice.... also, there was no qunari grey warden option... so, qunari inquisitor would be weird.... but the son to be the final boss, maybe.. haha...maybe she time travel back with my warden to be prepare for this. That boy maybe got the ancient god power in him thats why he can open veil close veil as he wish? QUOTE(faizdtk @ Jun 13 2014, 11:56 AM) I thought it was confirmed, or at least as the temporary companion.. |
