As far as I know changing the rear sports muffler back to original will make your high end slower as exhaust gas cannot go out fast enough. Maybe change to a quieter sports muffler mentioned by the members....

But i dunno wat type muffler can be most quiet.hehe

there is no such definite rule.

exhaust system is very passive with so many variables taken into account.

the important variables need to be considered
- exhaust flow smoothness
- piping size
- piping length

you have to bear in mind that resonators/bullet/midbox, mufflers and all the noise suppressors affect the exhaust gas flow in one or another way while helps reducing noise. if you have a very good muffler, it is not necessary to have additional midbox in the middle. you look at basic factory produced cars, a lot of them do not have bullet/midbox, only one rear muffler. Proton Wira 1.3/1.5 automatic for example, does not have any bullet or midbox.

remember, people want extra bullet or midbox in the middle to suppress noise, not to create performance. although to some extend the choice of resonator and placement does affect the power curve in some sort of way.

So my car is auto.use bullet n midbox.rear is s flow muffler.i plan to change d rear muffler to stock muffler.so tat means i can remove d bullet without affect performance, rite?

if removing it will cost you some labour charge, better just leave it. otherwise best to get it removed.
*
Cost is ok.but remove can improve d flow, rite?wont affect pick up n top speed, rite?maybe i wil use d s flow muffler which similiar wit ori putra twin tip muffler..bcoz i wan try make d noise same as stock.hehe

nw i oledi change to another s flow muffler..brand is marco..nw my rear muffler sound much quiet than previous..but i still can feel the bassy sound in the cabin(onli at front seat)..when i sat in rear seat, there is no noise when cruising 110kmh..but if sat in front, then can hear it..previous muffler more louder, current marco one oledi reduce around 70% noise..the exhaust shop told me,since i use straight bullet,so the sound can go in to the cabin..the bullet is at bottom of front seat,so will cause onli got sound when sat in front seat..is it true?he asked me to change my straight bullet to the bullet which got one pieces metal in the middle of inside of bullet..he mentioend it can reduce the noise and increase pick up especially auto car..

One thing for sure, if you're changing the bullet, avoid spiral/twisted type bullet because it's not only gimmick, but also create more 'droning noise'.

I use straight bullet nw..
