QUOTE(hamster9 @ Sep 9 2006, 07:14 PM) Ah...I've just changed all my stock tyres from Sime tyre to Continental tyre. Using Comfort Contact-1. Not bad I may say compared to Goodyear and Silverstone. Feels good. If only i changed those boucy absorbers, it would feel like a Beemer honestly speaking, what differences would the tyres make?Any absorbers to recommend? i mean, i can't really feel them, though perhaps, i'm not observant enough, i think LOL |

QUOTE(hamster9 @ Sep 9 2006, 09:34 PM) It depends how you bring your car. Firstly I tend to speed (120kmph is already scary, mind you) at 110kmph and while taking corners, you could feel the difference in tyre grip. Furthermore the condition of our Malaysian road, many thanks to Uncle Samy... the uneven roads can be the benchmark but mind u not the potholes. never experience any skidding before, thoughLastly I love the water puddle test. When I was using Sime Tyres (the stock tyres), at 40kmph also the car can skid. Now I could go up to 70kmph, it's still stable (tested on Ah Beng Iswara, no power steering) It's like wearing new shoes now wakakaz, and i love that phrase of yours |

just a thought
my 1.3 Sage SE... is there any way to increase or add more "power" to it? ummm, apologies, don't really know the term to it also, i heard that if add in more spark plugs to the engine, then it'll be able to go faster? |

ah, i see so, these spark plugs would indirectly affect the performance of the engine? but then, in what way? |

err, meaning, the spark plugs don't really or directly affect or boost the engine la? LOL am looking for a cheaper way to boost the "power" of my 1.3 Saga, actually oh, just a thought... |

QUOTE(Xefron @ Sep 14 2006, 10:20 PM) for iswara, stock cable and stock spark plugs are the best.just changed the exhaust setup/put voltage stabilizer/grounding cable /drop in /open air third party (K&N/HKS/Apexi)air filter should make the car more responsive(slightly increase in HP) and regular mantainance will surely make the car as it best condition. what on earth are those things you mentioned there? |

QUOTE(feralee @ Sep 16 2006, 10:36 AM) honestly, depends a lot on the pricing, tooLOL speaking of which... nowadays, whenever i brake, there tends to be these "nget nget nget" sound being heard from the front tires it doesn't occur all the time though, but only once in a while can't really determine on the frequency of it happening, too any idea what's wrong with it? |

honestly, no offence la, but then, does it really, really, really make any difference with just a minor differences of the FC of the car?
i mean, you could have spent more of the cash on something else, that might or might not be useful at all just my two cents, though |

it's impressive that you guys really put in the effort to calculate them
as for me, i pump the petrol, i drive once it reaches the last 2 bars, i pump, then drive by the way how do you guys actually calculated the FC? would like to try, too |
