u should get the technician to adjust the cable attached to the blower adjustment lever. I got this done at a proton sc before.
same thing as above. the cable is not tight enough, when u adjust the air con to circulate internally, there's still some gap allowing outside air to enter. besides smells, your air con wont perform as well.  sweat.gif

no wonder it's not cold. i tot it's time to add gas rclxub.gif

Anyone ever experienced the nyek nyek sound coming from the back at the left side? How to solve this prob ah?
*
When does tht happens? Mine happens everytime I go through uneven surfaces, the last time i fixed it, they say it was some latch or buckle I'm suppose to lock..then after I came home from IKEA I lowered my back seat to accomodate the furniture, now back to the nyek nyek nyek sound... sound very irritating. rclxub.gif

Anyone know where to get the crystal tail light?
*
Tail light, not so sure but front light can change in Subang Perdana there. I haven't change mine yet but already change the lamps to 100w rally bulb... it's so much brighter on the road.

QUOTE(feralee @ Feb 22 2007, 12:53 AM)
is very subjective
u want comfort or performance?
different ppl different setup
if u use kayaba RS- perfect in cornering but bumpy
i got my friend using GAB. he said is not bad for handling plus not kinda bumpy
APM performx - heard quite ok - but cornering still loose to kayaba RS

as for adjustable- many brand out there such as mugen, TEIN, TITAN etc,.i havent try my friend car yet
going to try- he is using TITAN - cost him RM2100  shocking.gif
*
I would prefer comfort and safety. It's not for me but for my old man. He doesn't drive 80kmph above. Thus there is no need for performance.

But the above u gave was more on performance if I'm not mistaken. Any more brands? What about the cost? I'm a strong fan for Continental tyres... and the comfort is nice. Just hope the absorbers are as comfortable as the tyres smile.gif

for iswara, mineral oil is sufficient, unless u have use semi or fully syn, then stick to it.  thumbup.gif

QUOTE(apache_utara @ Feb 23 2007, 12:55 PM)
yay..
just came back from jb for CNY
rclxms.gif

one thing i noticed was my car shook like mad when near 120km/h!
shocking.gif (even though did balancing before)
obviously,something was amiss,

so this is my theory:
1. rims were dented or
2. absorber cap ayam,so not very efficient or
3. rear is lifted a bit with rubber bushing (not so aerodynamic) or
4. tires don't have grip (sime tyre)

so,
any suggestions on which should i check first?
or is there any probable causes which i didn't state above?
notworthy.gif
*
I would say absorber lousy and the tyres too. Change em!! rclxm9.gif

I've changed my tyres. Now going to change the absorbers. notworthy.gif

i'm using 185/55R15,
fc not much affected i would say..
jsut don't get any sime tyres, lousy at hi speed
(learned my lesson  tongue.gif )
mine only front shaking,so can ah just change the front absorbers?
or must change altogether?
sweat.gif

i've tried deflating my tires to 205kPa instead of 220kPa,
less shaking but scared fc increased  whistling.gif
*
Sime tyres are lousy in any condition. Fast...slow...wet and dry. People might get killed with Sime. I skid when I'm travelling at 40kmph on wet condition shakehead.gif

last time changed tires didn't do research thoroughly..

whether trade-in tires & get new ones or
wait until this tires worn out 1st?
which is the better option?

if u slow driver n don't travel much..no need change tyres lo... I guess Sime tyres are for old geezers who travels the max speed of 60kmph laugh.gif Else change it for safety feature

sime tyres good for drifting... cheap and gripless... kekekeke.... tongue.gif
lighter rims but same dimension will improve ur fc.... lighter rims but bigger, help u maintain ur fc.... bigger and heavier rims, fc kantoi....

*
cannot drift wan... shakehead.gif coz mine is without power steering.. laugh.gif
QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Feb 27 2007, 12:46 AM)
u suspect ur absorber KO adi, causing the vibration??... try testing it urself... bounce the car up and down... if the car bounces few times before stopping, means KO adi... if u still have doubts, ask mech to check for u when u go do allignment n wheel balancing...

if ur absorber no KO, go do allignment and wheel balancing... wheel balancing can detect if u rims dented.... if problem still persist after all the above, check ur connecting rod (tie bar) and other linkage system in ur suspension... icon_rolleyes.gif

easier solution, jz bring to ur tayar shop and tell them ur problem lor... they will check for u the linkage everything when they do allignment....
*
if the tayar shop ask to change screw inside there...do u give ar? Coz I heard last time from a mechanic that if they change ur stock screw, sure later a lot of problem in alignment...like alignment easy lari..is it true?
