Worklog: Project Half Life 2, ATX size case.

Here's my preliminary idea for the next case project. The case is gonna be either white or black in color. The lambda logo will be clear so u can see the components inside. The Half-Life 2 words will also be clear. Then a red CCFL will light up the logo n words from inside.  I'll b using my old case which has been stripped bare. The ugly wheels will be changed to nicer wheels like the one's I'm using on Project Ch3@psk8.  The front will w using a flat piece of acrylic. This is the pix of the bare front.  The top panel window will most likely haf a Half-Life 2 see tru words like the side panel with the red CCFL glowing tru it. Undecided on this for now.  That's all for now. Pls give me ure opinions on whether u like the case to be in white or black n also waht to do with the top panel. |

Patience, patience. This case is gonna be a slow n easy pace mod coz my rig's not in it so I can take it easy. Still researching on design while I strip the paint n prepare the chassis for the mods. Also hafta go buy the materials I need. This will be a more detailed worklog than Project Ch3@psk8. I'm gonna take u guys tru the whole process with pix of every process. let me know If you want some parts. My friend has a PC outlet and he's got loads of junk at hte back. WHich to me looks quite usefull to be used as parts for modding. er.. just offering only lah. I haven't ask my friend if he can give me the stuff or not lolx. But he did say It's all junk to him. Think i'll go there tomorrow to look for a tower casing a large one, I need to change my casing too but dun have much time to mod haiz lolx.

If ur using watercooling, try making a small window on the right hand side, bottom for a reservoir. It'd look quite interesting, saw it someone once. |

might be some good news for you and maybe me too I hope lolx. I saw my friend and told him to keep full tower size cases for me and he said no problem lah. whenever I pop by there just go to the back and korek the store room lolx. I saw just now already got a few cases but only atx cases no full tower hehehe. SO keep ur fingers crossed lolx

frankly...halflife case mod has been overdone. Saw tons of case mods based on halflife. Not trying to pour cold water on you but don't you know you think you should consider doing another games case mod? Perhaps F.E.A.R case mod or something??
Having said that...I am eager to see whatever mod you are coming up with...good job so far....

Anyway whatever you decide, we will be waiting to see you results. I find it more interesting while you update your work with the pictures and your methods. The finish product nice or not is really not that important.

No time for my own mods lar.  It's still sitting in my storeroom doing nothing. My priority now is to finish off King Kong 1st as that is my flagship rig. After that I will redo Ch3@psk8.
