Here's my preliminary idea for the next case project. The case is gonna be either white or black in color. The lambda logo will be clear so u can see the components inside. The Half-Life 2 words will also be clear. Then a red CCFL will light up the logo n words from inside.





I'll b using my old case which has been stripped bare. The ugly wheels will be changed to nicer wheels like the one's I'm using on Project Ch3@psk8.




The front will w using a flat piece of acrylic. This is the pix of the bare front.




The top panel window will most likely haf a Half-Life 2 see tru words like the side panel with the red CCFL glowing tru it. Undecided on this for now.




That's all for now. Pls give me ure opinions on whether u like the case to be in white or black n also waht to do with the top panel.

Updates.

Bought sum stuff for Project Half-Life 2. Check out that painting mask(industrial mask used for toxic fumes, this truly is good stuff). Looks like the mask those Combine Soldiers wear. Even my painting mask fits the theme. Heheheh.




Here's the all important goggles for eye protection. Don't cut without eye protection guys. Especially true for those using rotary tools like Dremel. U never know when the cutting disc will explode. Trust me, happened to me b4 back when I was dremeling sum stuff for my remote control cars. I'm buying a B&D RTX soonz so prepare with a goggle 1st.




Here's the paint stripper I use. It's extremely strong stuff. Contact with skin is B.A.D news. Straight away ure skin'll turn black.

Patience, patience. This case is gonna be a slow n easy pace mod coz my rig's not in it so I can take it easy. Still researching on design while I strip the paint n prepare the chassis for the mods. Also hafta go buy the materials I need.

This will be a more detailed worklog than Project Ch3@psk8. I'm gonna take u guys tru the whole process with pix of every process. With Ch3@psk8 I rushed the worklog n sum of the processes din haf pics n explanations like the paint stripping n all.

let me know If you want some parts. My friend has a PC outlet and he's got loads of junk at hte back. WHich to me looks quite usefull to be used as parts for modding. er.. just offering only lah. I haven't ask my friend if he can give me the stuff or not lolx. But he did say It's all junk to him. Think i'll go there tomorrow to look for a tower casing a large one, I need to change my casing too but dun have much time to mod haiz lolx.
