Nah. Anet said that the expansion itself is priced at $50. The base game is free. The only thing to do, if you want a cheaper price is wait for a discount.

but one mistake was he said veteran players are already a sure fire deal to purchase the expansion even if there was no perks. sadly that isint the case.

At the very least there should be two plans of the plans. Like for new and existing players. Like for $50 new player get the expansion plus base game while for old players get the expansion and extra character slots or a slot and maybe bank expansion or something.. Man..

Seems like my condi build for engi is still good but my turrets build kinda gone now as some of the traits for the turret are gone dunno go where LMAO

So, how are u guys character now? become godlike with new traits or become like Fire-Elementallike which can be downed in few secs with lots of damage from others
