There is no difficulty in overtaking cars, be it on a highway or normal road. And you do not feel speeding at 120 kmph, except wind noise is obvious (but acceptable) because background engine noise is low relatively compared to petrol cars @ 120 kmph. Hybrid does not mean compromised performance. Acceleration is smooth and good, even when you accelerate from cruising speed of 100 kmph onwards. Myvi 1.3 or even 1.5 no fight, can even hear those myvis engine working very hard to keep the pace at high speed.
*
Add a few more points here is that it don't feel like driving a small car and good road holding(depend your tire pressure). Specially super quiet and no feeling of changing gears.....compare with petrol car(like my exora blush.gif ).

I dun notice any shop name there....they only do car showroom unit for new car that what they told me. More like a wholesale dealer. Bodykit is ABS type. PM me at FB...I will share more info there for you. Coz I promise him not to shout around his offer to me(only discount to my friend which mention my name to him brows.gif ). Sorry bro..promise is a promise..must keep my words.

Some more got stainless steel TRD Sportivo stickers on bodykit(front & back)....just like origin... tongue.gif

In fact, is not that I am picky. Just dun want straight way by looking at it and know those wiring are not belonging there. So have to make it more professional and looks origin(following their wiring rooting together brows.gif )...not easily get warranty void...but expert still know those wiring are not part of the car original installation. tongue.gif but not easily spotted.

Wankf , beside the wiring , how's the body kit fitting ? And also the paint finishing ? Y not put a pic with the LED on  rclxm9.gif ?

Painting is great. 100% match. Installation was ok. Anyway I did told them that I will fix the wire again. tongue.gif Tomorrow I will take a picture with the LED "on". nod.gif Now too late to take photo la....

But tomorrow early morning I will have to apply Diamond Shield Paint Sealant to my PC. Its a good sealant which I order from US. Can protect paint up to 2 yrs. Which I use it on my Unser and Exora to protect the paint, and its really good. Never did any wax polish or any thing.... brows.gif Next redo wiring and later go Big Brother to get black liner to stick it on PC doors(to match up with my bodykit now Silver n Black). icon_rolleyes.gif

Met a Hond Freed owner when doing bodykit, he like the PC very much. He told me he got a shark fin antenna with led power by solar from HK(added into my HK items wishing list.. drool.gif I will be broke soon after all those discount money gone cry.gif ).

did a crazy thing today with my pc, i drove it until no petrol!

985KM full tank! i think should be able to achive above 1000km, with this tank of petrol, that's few days i stucked in traffic jam for total 5 hours due to smart tunel closure, and some days i did not drive in a econimic ways. so next time i will try 1k.

when pc out of petrol, the battery will still work, until the battery left 2 bars, your car will show "power on" means the car in accessories mode. that moment when i pressed the pedal but the car no longer got power, it only can drive slow with the battery support. lucky the petrol station just 500meter away from my stop  points. i switch on my emergency light, and i notice i cannot lock my car.... it need me to total switch off the car in order to lock it. for safety reason, i have to let the car unlock and walk to the petrol station.

i remember someone said need to fill in at least 4 litre in order for the car to start, but i only fill in less than 1.5 liters, my car back alive.

from my testing, from the car start last petrol bar warning beep until the car stop, i drove 12xkm. so guys, take note ya... i can said im lucky for this crazy work....
*
I remember reading somewhere at priuschat that a guy at US did this also but he was not so luck. All his PC indicator light went on flashing and car went die stop. Later Toyota told him that it could be the pump problem and replaced it but he try to do it again and never happen. Some time many thing is unexplainable....but better not to try and regret later on... shocking.gif

Wow. Look really awesome! Thanks for sharing ur PC smile.gif.
Paint Sealant easy to apply ka? Difficult to get it locally ? Really interested la....
Mind to tell where to get it and how to apply? Thanks
*
Bro I order it from US. I use it for my Unser and Exora last time...it a good sealant.

Here how its apply :-

A simple 2-step process that you apply once a year!
After wash and clean the car do the following:-

1) Apply the Cleaner/Deoxidizer with a wet sponge, allow it to dry and then wipe it off. There is no heavy rubbing, no abrasives to damage your paint and no harmful chemicals. This unique formula thoroughly cleans the paint, removes oxidation, tar, grime and virtually anything else that has stuck to the surface.

2) Now your paint is amazingly shiny clean, smooth and ready for Diamond Shield Paint Sealant. Again, you simply sponge the Sealant on, allow it to dry and easily wipe it off. No heavy rubbing or buffing.

good workout sweat.gif then PC will be shiny for the whole year long thumbup.gif

PC is much easy to do then doing on Unser n Exora.... sweat.gif tongue.gif

QUOTE(merchant9 @ Dec 8 2012, 11:52 PM)
Hello everybody,

Actually, I am asking this on behalf of my wife. Toyota is giving down payment rebates for 2012 cars. We are considering selling our old Waja for either a Toyota Vios J [AT] or the Prius C.

At first, we were considering the Vios J only because the model got upgraded with 2 airbags (from none) and now 15" rims (from 14"). When we walked into a Toyota showroom in Klang today, was told Vios J out of stock, waiting list very long.

We dont know how true this is but it's very possible since the Vios J after discount is now RM72k. Since Vios J is unavailable, we looked at Altis 1.8G and Prius C.

Altis is definitely out of our budget. We are looking at something below 100k and the Prius C seem to fall into place nicely with 7 air bags, push start, made in Japan, etc.

My wife is generally using it to get to work and back. Besides commuting to work, she also has to fetch our kids around town. Our kids is currently 2 years old and another is 5 months old. I think 100k may be far fetched for these 2 purposes (commuting to work and driving the kids). Eventually, she's starting her own business next year and have to move around in the city a lot more than she does not, so I think a compact Hybrid might just do the trick.

The only drawback is that Prius C interior is smaller than the Vios. Besides that, I think it wins in every other aspect. Are we making the right decision? Should we get the Vios or the Prius C? I know I'm in a Prius C thread, hope someone can make an unbiased comment to advice since we are both now familiar with cars.

Upgrading thoughts:
1. Tinting options for Prius C
2. Leather seat for Prius C
3. Body kit for Prius C
4. DVD system

Should I get them from Toyota or accessories shop outside? Does it void any warranty?
*
All I can say is follow your heart, pick the one which you like. If you want to know more about the goodies on Prius C read pass posted on this thread, same goes with the warranty stuff...been mention too many time in this thread and wouldn't want to talk about it again. Cheers!!! icon_rolleyes.gif

With respect, no offense. For me, it is ugly. Mod like LED skirt is awesome and nice, but this one quite Ah Beng (like the owner got no money to do better mod but still die die wanna mod). It is just my opinion, no offense to anyone.
*
Actually I got that same feeling about the lamp garnish that it look really ugly(those attached pic r from HK) and totally agree on the Ah Beng look on those. tongue.gif

UMW going to install those to their Prius C TRD version next year. sad.gif That is what I heard from my SA. shocking.gif

Good sharing!!

An add on, Prius C has VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) which Vios and Camry don't have. Yes, ALL Camry spec also don't have. Only Honda Accord highest spec has it. VSC/ESP/VSA is a mandatory equipment for new car in US now.

Paultan: ESP is a must!

Actually no need also can but if you want your paint to last longer then use sealant lo....mine will last for the next 2 years which I wouldn't need to do any waxing...based on my past 2 cars experiences with the same sealant used on my PC now (order from US). smile.gif
