This flash should be GN28 one...means the power is almost one times++ of ur builtin flash. I not sure how this flash works, so still need to try it b4 u buy...u can try it like something in certain distance..check out the rotate will loose or not..and check the battery plate is it stained(some cause by battery leaking).

TTL Auto is through the lens and base on cam+lens calculation one. Normal it will pre-flash(cant notice one ) first and only flash again to get the accurate power needed.

Auto almost is based on the sensor on the flash..which is using to determine how much power flash u needed.

Overall consider fine, the sharpness is not enough..so the photo looks a bit soft, and DOF for dragonfly's eye need to be careful too.
For my personal taste...if the "light yellow ray" in background can show in the line of dragonfly would be better to show as the light fall from the top..
