to me, residing in jb or s'pore depends on:-

0)if still single (still on a hunt, be it, career progression, opportunities, PARTNER, LOBANG etc etc). then i say s'pore lo;
1)you wanna pay yourself a 'home' (own mortage) or help other pay their mortage;
2)after work, go back to your 'home' or to your 'CUBE'; and

many many knew foe a fact that... one pay rent in s'pore is as good as paying your OWN 1)mortage PLUS 2)two Hire Purchases in jb

location of your work-place is critical for a decision here. thats why!! my butt has been around only in woodland & sg kadut presently for the past 12yrs.     of course, career progression has been limited... only so-so CO ard.. you win some lose some lo...not forgetting "chap-fun" at $2.70, no erp, travelling time 40mins between causeway...all this just for a higher spending power during weekends/public holidays in m'sia

Of coz it's not that bad. It's still safer than South Africa.

I reached office in under 15mins. I'll choose taking an MRT/bus anytime over bike if it takes an hour or more to reach the destination. Bike isn't the safest mode of transport to begin with but I'll save that for another post.

He mentioned that his EP got rejected, therefore he wouldn't have received his In Principal Approval.

Got rejected because he failed to provide his degree cert? I haven't receive my degree cert also, i just give them my printed transcript and a letter which state that i'm going to graduate. And yet i can get the IPA.

did the MOM specifically mentioned that coz normally they do not give reason for WP rejection

probably he's rejected due to other reason(s) unless MOM specifically mentioned it's due to the degree cert

The letter is written in Bahasa Melayu. It stated that i will be graduated at Oct (subjected to result and fulfill the requirement of graduation). Anyway i had just received the degree certificate from my uni. My last step is go to MOM and collect my pass.

Hi,

is because alot of malaysian after sign up et a cheap phone they dont even paid the bill just before they quit the job.
this thing have been spoil by malaysian.

many malaysian back to jb due to exhaust and after they earn around RM10K they get a car such as VIOS and get a job sales that can earn around RM3k so they quit the job from Singapore and back to Jb.

Im working 1 of the top 5 Manpower recruitment , i got 27  5->6 star hotel and restaurant and alof of steward so called dishwasher only have $SGD1100 and their levy is $SGD475 - $SGD520 .
