Oh gosh!! i m late...i guess your case is too many people make purchase online cause the system didnt place your order. lucky you, still manage to buy..haha

btw, how you know when is the first day of ticket selling for CNY on all transportation? i mean for bus, train and flight i know. hmm.gif

For firstcoach normally they'll put up the notice on their website. Previously...around 3 weeks ago I did call up firstcoach to ask when will the tickets for CNY be open for purchase..they said call back in another weeks time or check their website for the info.

For Aeroline i think its 30 days in advance only.

For the others...not sure...cause I have not tried the others

Singp room rental is super expensive....i got shock!!
Pls recommend which area got cheaper house or room for rent?

I work near Bartley MRT station. I don wan to spend most of my salary on rental...wish to do more saving.
*
SG room rental rates are still around SGD500++ for a common room 1 to a room....if you want to pay lesser you can try a twin sharing....maybe each person will need to pay around SGD300++? Also it depends on the location, location, location

Surprising. The tectonic plates have been moving towards Asia and have been gathering momentum. Restructuring that affects Asia's office is largely focused on cost based. If you're in a support role then I suppose the risk is there where you may not be back. MNCs have been moving supporting role to India and Philippines in droves except to maintain high levels position in regional offices.

Best of luck.

Well said....with that I've been laid off.....31/12/12 will be my last day!!!

looking on the bright side, you won't be the only one....many more will join you. Lol!
*
Been given a package of course...so I can still leave n go happily....
plus this amount is non-taxable for the personal income tax...because this is considered as a loss of employment. So i get it in NET...no CPF no taxes!!
But you will still need to declare this amount.

what if i get a working permit from my boss? Is that possible?
I'm going SG next week after christmas and staying in my aunt's house.
Hoping to get a temporary job
*
the working permits here in SG are issue by MOM(Ministry of Manpower). Your boss nor your HR doesn't have the final say...but MOM does...if MOM doesnt give you the permit...then you can't be working in SG(officially/by the books)......

5%? take short term loan from relative and pay them monthly installment with interest slighly higher than their FD.

Some credit card now offer you low % credit loan for 6 months before higher rate kick in. You can take it at your own risk.

Just dont try your luck in sentosa.

as well as at MBS!!!

Of course... the 400,000-500,000 Malaysians in Singapore are generally all voting age, predominantly Chinese and totally anti-BN bullshit. Making it easier for us to vote is akin to "chee chap tai pei"... (stabbing your own thigh).

But nonetheless... http://balikundi.bersihsingapore.com/
