Love it!! at first..thinking of buying JnK..gorgeous design..but difficult to replace battery..need to remove the case..

Any experience buying from rakuten japan? RX1 can get RM6-6.5k there. Shipping about RM100. But warranty, of course, from Japan lah. Hmmmm ....

Thx little ice for your input. Good point about Japanese-only menu. Anyway, since rakuten is now like the amazon.com of Japan, I think the sellers start to notice interests from overseas purchasers and may have though about the English-menu offerings. But that's a good point to note!

But that's a good point to note! japanese units are made for locals so that's why they're cheaper than anywhere else, they do have international version but expect to be at least same price as US. i was like you trying to save every penny as possible to get this camera, in the end i just bite the bullet and buy local unit for the sake of warranty.it's either you go for local unit (or wait for price drop if you will), or go for cheap cheap 2nd hand unit. if i haven't bought one, i would have snatch that RX1 in garage sale as it's VERY low - given that there wasn't any mechanical failure and in 100% working condition. |
