Currently i have few devices that i used to stream the Astro on the go apps as below
- ipad mini (IOS)
- nexus 5 ( android)
- minix x8-h (android)

recently i have updated my android OS update on the minix x8-h and the AOTG apps on the minix x8-h to the latest version 7.3.2, since then i unable to stream the video content and it always pop-up this error:
ERROR,
device name android neo-x8-h@ already exists

based on the FAQ that i found in this section:
Where can I view/update my list of authenticated devices?
Astro on the Go will automatically register the first three devices using your Astro ID for playback as authenticated devices. If you login and playback content with a fourth device, a prompt will appear to request a switch of devices. You will then be able to view a list of authenticated devices and perform an update if desired. mean there is limit on the devices that u can use to login ur account ?
or i think it could be because of bugs in the new apps, my devices is same, by right can identified its the same devices as before

did u get same error device name already exist ?
reported to their Customer service in FB, most of them either ask me to relogin, logout all devices, reinstall etc which doesn't help at all.
last night i tried, still get same error. sad.gif

"Referring to your email, we regret to inform you that Astro On The Go (AOTG) allows only 3 devices to be logged in at a time.
By the time you login at the 4th device, you will need to switch any of the former 3 devices to be updated with the latter device.
Only 1 switch is allowed in a month and 10 switches are allowed yearly and you will only be able to proceed with another switch in the next consecutive year.
By the time being, you will need to stick the any of the 3 devices that you have used earlier to login to AOTG. "

so i guess just need to wait for next month and try again to switch the device.

actually i didnt switch before, currently the acc tied to my 3 devices only,

the problem occurred on my minix device, where i just recently update the firmware update. it could be the apps treat it as new device. sad.gif

I feel much better asking here since going to astro center , no one and give out the answer , made phone call need to listen to music 30 min and redail and transfer.Make report number also cannot solve.rclxub.gif

u need to register for astro id free account 1st.
then login into astro on-the-go apps, from there u need to find account management or something, then look up for link to astro account. fill in the astro account number. done. u should able to watch other channel under ur astro plan but not all channel actually.
my astro is sport plan plus those discovery/nat-geo channel plan, so i can watch all sport channel/discovery/net-geo plus few free channel.

for the rooted issue, i think this just for security. same as iflix also require the phone to be unroot. if root, then cant install.
