Normally the cafe's buzzing at 9pm, hardly any room to walk. Tonight I went there after 5 days no makan nasi.... and it's quite empty already.

Considering it is only 2-3 days left before the final day of exam so not much surprise. Even the mall also already quite empty few days back.

I'm wondering how much food should I stock up in case all shops closed early (before 17th).

I am non-partisan but the lecturer had twisted the words and her "points" are more like ramblings - farts in the wind of no substantial weight. What the f*** does cats have to do with the issue at hand? She is pulling rank as an "adult", treating the student as a kid.

UUM went famous (infamous) overnight. All because of a stupid SW1M president who does NOT even have any relation to our university.

Generalization are very common in the Net so just shrug it off.

Why all the fuss just come out recently. That event had already few months already rite, makes me wonder whether really the fact that all 'good' stuff just come recently is due to our 'isolated' uni location

Anyway Bawani got a public shaming lol. That's the price she have to pay for that unfortunately (but I think she didn't have much problem with it). Regarding all those clappings and stuffs, students doing that mostly for 'menghangatkan suasana' only IMO.

Don't want to talk about their purpose of coming to that forum, but the things about that Galaxy Note really made me

Actually Bawani suddenly become a public sensation over that, and many (if not mostly) of people are on her side. Not just from what I read in this forum, but over in Tweets, fb, etc.

Those Galaxy Notes and T-shirts....that's clouded the judgment I think. Without those things you have to wonder how many of them will actually come all the way to DMS for those stuffs? So far in UUM, events that able to attract students to come is the one that involves public figures (politicians, artists ). Not to mention if there are possibilities of 'diwajibkan hadir' as well.

Yep, she'd certainly become the MPP. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if she got the TYDP or YDP position based on the popularity contest.

During last election Bawani got specific campaign against her. Would be interesting had she won a seat last time, ah well. A law student btw, doing her 2nd degree here right now.
