Which set should i get if im a beginner? Also i wanted to play with my niece so need to buy 2 sets?
Just wondering if there's a bootleg ver i can try first before spending on the real thing
These days for beginners first purchase, it is usually wiser to get the latest set's commander precons. They play well against each other; easy to sit down and play with strangers in card shops and there is no need to chase or upgrade cards. Just wondering if there's a bootleg ver i can try first before spending on the real thing
The official link to the two precons is below.

There is no need to try the bootleg version. Magic the Gathering have online free to play version called Magic Arena. Make a user account and they have tutorials inside to guide and rewards beginners.
Hope that helps. You can PM me for more pointers as this thread can evidently get slow.
