i was one of the shareholder back then what went thru privatization. earned a premium, but lost a good reit counter.

Yea, already ran away from REITs. A portfolio of index funds, SG banks, TSMC and Hermes should be sufficient on the equity side. Add SG T-bills, SSBs, bank loans, some US Treasuries and my personal loans to friends (in SGD, interest rate 72% p.a.  drool.gif ) you get a very decent "balanced fund" of some sort.

For PLife REIT, I have averaged-up till $2.24.

Just taking the figures off my tracking sheets, at FY2024 total divvy payout of 14.92c, my yield would be at 6.5667%.

I've held since 2008,... averaged-up, averaged down,... taken profits here & there,... I believed my ROI would be over-100% today,... just how much, I wouldn't know. No mechanism for tracking here.

Roi’ed at 100% so i view it as free money printer.

Will only consider to sell IF i were to find a better opportunity/counter. If not just let it brrrrrrrrrrrrr print money.
