Sounds like you have a very large and healthy portfolio to manage!

I guess we can safely say that peak panic is behind us. Markets are shrugging off WHO's emergency declaration and further spread of the disease. If early signs that the spread is slowing emerge, markets will likely spike. If only I had more funds to deploy..

i feel you. dry.gif

headache if want to sell BTC > SGD > SGX stocks or just hodl till $20k/btc

any recommended broker? No SG PR and employment pass also can apply right?

I heard that ppl say SG REIT is better than MY REIT so i am trying to invest here. How is the market insight for now?
*
if you have cimb sg acc, then apply cimb broker. i guess it's easier that way. like i have maybank SG so i apply maybank kim eng. so far the service is top notch no complain.

my personal opinion is rather on the overvalued side but can get bargain at times when you look hard enough. just prep your war chest for any dips (provided fundamental remains strong). investing in SG reit for long time horizon (5-20 years)...

Yes bro Shing,... I believed this is the right move for now.

For myself, I'm also holding back my bullets now.

For other bros,.. strengthen your in warchest and your logistics now by setting-up accounts and converting more into the SGD in preparation for the upturn.

i keep exchanging to SGD till my normal seller don't have SGD anymore for me. cry.gif (XE rate quote, best rate ever).

But yea, will monitor. i don't think this is the end thou. more to come.

What is DeFi? I remembered seeing this word a few times recently but can't recall what it is
*
decentralise finance. bank is an example of centralise finance system. Aave, Compound, Pancakeswap is an example of decentralise finance, where the transaction is governed by smart contract (coded). This DeFi space only starts to be popular somewhere 2019/2020 so i'll say it's still early stage although more than billions of $$$ is locked in DeFi due to it's higher-than-bank interest rate. Example, USDT interest APY 6%/annum.

I work in the cryptoexchange/blockchain industry so I venture alot into this till i neglect my sreits. I felt bad LOL blush.gif

Probably, you have higher return of investment in decentralized finance, compared to SReits.  tongue.gif

Can you point out the thread in Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies Rules subforum, that discusses decentralized finance?

Thank you.  smile.gif

hey kart

i just glance thru the crypto subforum and sad to say, nothing in particular that discussed the decentralized finance related stuffs. most of the thread discussed about how to buy/sell and what type of exchanges out there and majority talking about coin's price. sad.gif

i'm a silent follower of your post and i have massive respect for u bro. couple of times your post/opinion/thoughts did gave me a new perspective in selecting Sreits. Hence, if you would like to, we can talk 1-to-1 about DeFi or anything in crypto that interest you.

i have experience working in local, onshore and global crypto exchange. so, hopefully i am able to answer all your questions. Do drop me a PM and let's talk more. happy to share and glad you asked. icon_rolleyes.gif

AS i read it, CURRENTLY individuals are not subjected to tax on foreign derived income.
However, the gov will amend the tax laws to enable tax to be collected from corporations and individuals.

Will have to relook at my investment strategies.

Hi bro, please allow me to point you to some updates on this matter by relevant analysts. https://sginvestors.io/sgx/stock/cjlu-netli.../analyst-report

The review will only be completed in 1H 2023, and expected to have lag of several months thereafter before implementation, according to management.
