Oscar assisted that goal, and assist one more to Neymar. Then Oscar horror miss, but Chelsea players have their moment tongue.gif

That's all i could watch, i need to go to bed.

EDIT: By the way, Ramires is playing in holding position. I ask Eddie Newton just now, he say he personally prefer him on the right. hmm.gif

The same I can say when he missed his free header in Olympics final.

As for Ramires, I am a bit divided. He was playing well last season in the wing, but not as this season goes. And the problem with him playing in holding position is he always caught off position.

He is when he plays for Brazil. With age of 21 and playing regularly for Brazil, that should mean something, isnt it? Hope he can bring his Brazil form to EPL. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

not this again... after those malouda argument..

if he is coming it wont happen till January, and there lot of time till then, why would a club make a move now?

we couldnt foresee how will our new squad performance till then, or do we need additional reinforcement? not wise to pay ridiculous transfer fee.

Czechs claim Cech is to have surgery

helsea goalkeeper Petr Cech is struggling with an elbow injury that will require surgery next summer, according to Czech Republic's team doctor.

Champions League holders Chelsea are aware of the issue and have requested that Czech Republic rest Cech from friendly internationals, with coach Michal Bilek happy to agree with the club.

"An investigation showed a bit of ossification in his elbow, so they (Chelsea) are planning a surgery in England after the season," doctor Petr Krejci told the Czech news agency CTK.

"They have asked us if we could rest him in friendly fixtures. We have come to an agreement with coach Michal Bilek and decided to be on good terms with Chelsea.

"We are going to grant their wish and rest him. Petr cannot stretch the arm properly. If he has to stretch the elbow, it hurts him sometimes.

"There is nothing to be worried about, though. There is basically nothing that could make this problem worse.

"The only thing that could force an immediate surgery is if the intensity of pain would get much higher or if the elbow was blocked in some way."

Cech captained Czech Republic in Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Denmark in Copenhagen, which ended in a 0-0 draw, but he will sit out the Tuesday's friendly against Finland.

Manchester City and Chelsea given FFP wake-up call by Uefa

Problem UEFA. tongue.gif

Manchester City and Chelsea have been given a wake-up call by Uefa, who have taken the first steps towards implementing their financial fair play scheme by hitting a range of European teams.

23 clubs competing in Uefa competitions this season have had their prize money temporarily withheld, as the organisation seeks to encourage sides to be financially stable.

While no Premier League sides have currently been affected, this strict approach could cause shockwaves through clubs including Manchester City and current European Champions Chelsea, who are both heavily financed by outside investors Sheikh Mansour and Roman Abramovich.

As part of Uefa’s requirements, clubs must provide information regarding the status of any overdue payments by the end of June, with 23 sides falling foul of repayment rules.

These clubs include European heavyweights such as Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Fenerbahce, who will receive no prize money while investigations continue.

The only side competing in this season's Champions League to so far be affected are Spanish side Malaga, who finished fourth in La Liga last season.

Any club under further investigation has until the end of September to provide an updated situation with regards to overdue payments towards other clubs, employees and tax authorities.

Meanwhile, Uefa’s strict stance will remain in place until repayments have been made or until a final decision by the Uefa Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) is taken.
