Now Unity Kitchen got discount until 31st october. The price for granite and quartz is the same, i.e. RM 190 pfr, normal price 250.

Just got my quotation yesterday.
Dont know whether limited finish(design) or just the plain one.

I am going there to get better info.
Was told by the staff at Signature Kitchen that Granite/Quartz will absorb some moisture and transmit it to the base cabinet. This will make the base cabinet a bit smelly.. Anyone can vouch to this??

sometimes it depends on what color you intend your counter top to be. if you are looking for a particular color or effect, not all materials will have what you want.
I'm using Corian white color solid surface for 5 years now. So far okay. It is also much cheaper at around Rm180 pfr (for plain white color) compare to Quartz about 3 times the cost.
My sink is also Corian....so its all one seamless piece of top and sink

I like to try Quartz or Marble the next time.....but the cost.....arrgrggghhh...
