Hi..
Is it true that since granite is natural stone, it is porous so water can actualy seeps into it?
And also being natural stone, theres a chance part of the stone is actually "empty" inside so when try to cut it, it may break..
Hence better to get quartz over granite?
If my cabinet is beige for the doors and black for the frame, should i go for black or light colour top?
There are several grading for natural stone however it is true that being natural stone, there are higher chances of water seepage to occur and different part of the stone may have different degree of porosity. It is not recommended to do heavy cutting over counter top using natural stone so yea quartz is better over granite or any other natural stone in term of durability and practicality. Is it true that since granite is natural stone, it is porous so water can actualy seeps into it?
