Dear Fellow PREVOC members,

As at today, 09/10/2012, a group of unknown entity has invaded our PREVOC FB and removed all the Original CM (i.e. WhiTe LiGhTer, FenomX, Me, Red Flame, VigneszMK, Marquis, Besz137) from being a Mod/Admin there.

It's still early to tell who is responsible for this coup de' tat but please, we would just to inform you guys here starting from this moment, what ever actions or announcements posted in FB is no longer associated with us, the original Initiator of this Club.

Please refrain from posting there as we donno how will it be treated as we do not know who's entity are we dealing with now.

NOTE: "Kumpulan Penyelaras I & Kumpulan Penyelaras II" is NOT FROM US.

Long story short. Me and the other CM disagree with how things are running on FB. So they revoke all of the other FB admin status, leaving only two of them.

All original CM who came from LYN would never do such thing. U know how we are since the beginning bro. U know how much passion and enthusiasm we share via having owned this car

What I concern the most is the lack of power, since it's a heavier car compare to my current MT Wira Aeroback and both guys from TopGear Malaysia and PaulTan.org had said that the MT/IAFM+ variant is "NOT" that good, I hesitate. As I said, I'm not a racer boy, but I do need the car to response fast enough when I'm exiting from a small road to a busy main road.

BTW, how's the FC? What number can a full tank achieved with a mix of highway and city road?

Anyhow, since most of the CVT/IAFM+ owner over here are giving thumbs up for this variant, I'm now have more faith with it too. The only thing left between me and the car is just the loan application approval.

Just hope that I can be a proud Preve owner before the end of the year.

hi all. I do think over cranking is related to vvt component which sometimes call oil starvation. If it is severe, always have it or it is too long, thats why its recommend to change owv. If only occur during cold start n its short, and dont occur after that. That is i think just short oil starvation coz it takes a bit of time around couple of scnd before oil enter the vvt component. That is why i recommend thinner oil rating coz easier to flow to vvt component. Yup, one may argue about winter grade n etc, but this is not about the wheather, but the characteristics of oil. Thinner n lighter oil easier to flow compare to thicker n heavy oil. Sometimes overcrank on vvt sometimes known as knocking during start. As i know, it wont hurt ur engine, but do agree its annoying.

One more thing, please check your oil level, make sure it is on max level. If not, please top up.This is really crucial thing for vvt equip car.

If ocv valve dont solve the issue, maybe ask them to reflash new adaptation(if yours the old version). Another note, dont rush to change between d to r coz i think if too fast, sometimes from normal pulley operation in d change to planetary gear in r to give fixed ratio when reversing can mismatch, thus causing the stalling.
On another note also, try not to press too deep the brake which causing the rpm drop low than normal idle operation, press just enough to stop the car from move. Hopefully this can solve ur problems.
By the way, this is not official claim by proton, just my thought sharing with u guys with intention to share n help each other.

to all sifu, i got my CFE preve a month ago and as usual have the over crank issue, tried change startup procedure but still having it 

well recently this few morning my preve struggles to startup
like 'check' 'check' then after 2 sec only 'vroom' and the rpm slowly from 0.5 to 1k not 1.5k to 1k

any idea ?    only have this issue with cold startup
