Yeah, I understand your point. But telling the customer "...yes, got car but have to wait forever..." is very misleading. If you're providing the service, then be fair & give us a definitive timeline-lah. Not good to keep people waiting indefinitely, right? Its like going to a restaurant, ordering your food & having the waiter tell you "...you might get your food anytime between the next 15 minutes to next week...". How-lah?!

Range extenders allow for development of efficient forms of power generation. The transfer of gas --> electricity --> motion is far more efficient than gas --> motion. Plus, as technology advances, who's to say we'll be running on fossil-fuel burning generators? Nuclear anyone?

I'm just saying, range extenders open a whole world of possibilities. Energy efficient generators, alternative generators, efficient motors, alternative power-trains.... can go on & on...
