my windscreen hit by stone, no crack yet, wait till before insurance expire need to claim for replacement.

If you purchase add-on windscreen insurance (abt 15% value of windscreen claim, ie. RM150 for RM1000 windscreen insurance protection), you can claim straight without affecting your NCD. No need wait till before insurance expire, makes no difference.

Do note some cialat insurance company requires your to make POLICE REPORT even for windscreen claim. So I always goes for insurance company that does not require police report for windscreen claim. From what I know, Tokio Marine is one of the one that do not require that besides being a good paymaster (according to my mudguard mechanic as well). So all my vehicles are on Tokio Marine.

hey guys, i wanna know abt the premium preve de eco-tint film. roughly how much for that particular film? and also the IRD 97% rejection and total solar energy / heat rejection 64% is different thing ar??

possible to get heat rejection 97% 1?

Unless you tint your screen super dark until cannot see outside, maybe.

Most premium clear tints has a paper high solar rejection of 50% to 60+%. No more than that. IRR % helps but does not represent the actual rejection (total solar does). However on paper, most premium tints claims very high total solar heat rejection but in reality, some does not really works up to the number stated. Personally I do not believe premium eco-tint real life performance heat rejection is better than Vkool 70. And vkool 70 has only heat rejection of up to 54%, I think. With eco-tint 60+%, somehow its hotter than Vkool 70. So go figure but that is just my thought only, no concrete evident.

new civic,exterior maybe a letdown,but interior is thumbup.gif

New Civic using SOHC engine. Meant to coupled fc saving with performance. Preve is pure performance oriented with walak FC concern taking a backseat.

8gen civic not SOHC?

i drive my bro 8gen civic 2.0 very high FC  sweat.gif (maybe i heavy footer)

Ya lar...8th gen pun sama. SOHC for 1.8 although the new civic using SOHC for both models.

Actually Civic 1.8 not so fc saving although Honda intention of using SOHC is for cost saving and performance balance (thats what they say anyway). However for almost 100% city drive, short distance, start stop, I usually hit 9+ km/l. It can be considered FC concious kuah....for a heavy car 1.8 cc car.

They should stop working on hybrids & look at range-extenders, like the REEV platform. This is the future - allowing development of more efficient generators & electric motors. Personally, I won't go for hybrids

Here's a nice EV drool.gif

I'm not sure abt range extender for long term viability. Electricity generation still requires a huge amt of gas, coal and fuel currently. Defeats the purpose unless we realise huge capacity renewable energy source.
