QUOTE(rooney723 @ Feb 5 2013, 11:27 PM) ya, dis phone the oni drawback is the screen, otherwise its a perfect phone liao.........but dis phone is oso cheap , so the low reso screen is stil acceptable Agreed!!! Even if i upgraded, it will still be my trusty back-up. I have already started searching for a new conventional phone for my mum (anybody got lobang for reliable seller selling SE Elm???) so she dont bising me when i am not using my XGO in future, hahaha...ya, its the ppi problem, x go oni has 165ppi, for phones if below 200ppi the screen n words will look pixelated.....before dis i oso owned an xperia sola n its screen size is almost same as go but reso is 854x480, n ppi of >250ppi , the screen was |

Want to ask, is it wise to opt for the non-LTE version? |

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Mar 20 2013, 07:49 PM) If you have ever installed custom rom and custom kernel in Xperia Go, Yeah, the XGO is sure a nice handset... Xperia Go actually can perform just nice and functional. But what Xperia Z can offer is the, amazing camera, amazing stylish design, well not so as rugged as xperia go but still waterproof and dust resistance body, 2GB of RAM, i mean,it is like using whole different class of Xperia, For me, i am still in love with Xperia Go because the small and rugged design especially when you already get used to Sony UI themed. Btw, want to ask a lil regarding XZ's small apps thingie > What are the apps available for this feature, can i say like... watch a movie and Facebook at one go, splitted screen??? |

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Mar 21 2013, 08:32 PM) Ah,depends on the developer itself, Yeah of course, nothing beats the power of a supped up PC. hehehe... But handset with a larger screen is useful at times though, where desktop is not available and laptop is kinda inconvenient... I hope this small apps feature will be useful as i cannot get too much info from Sony store/centres personnel until now...basically it is a neat function but i found it kinda useless because i prefer multi tasking with my desktop anyway |

Hey all... I am officially not a XGO user anymore. Got my XZ last Saturday and sold off my XGO already...
Kinda miss it actually, its convenience and usability in terms of size, and also its acceptable performance. I might consider to get if there is a new version as secondary phone. At least during rugged moments can temporarily retire my XZ and abuse the XGO, hahaha... I would say that my previous XGO really change my perception on smartphones and androids. Good job, Sony!!! |

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Mar 27 2013, 08:55 AM) Xperia Z is awesome on its own way but yeah i also use variety type of Xperia so i really like to new version of Xperia Go coming this year(hopefully July) - Larger screen on same or smaller chasis > Drop the excess ends and "Sony", "Xperia", etc prints... - Better screen resolution - Better speaker performance - Larger battery capacity - Not very critical but... Micro sim and SD swap w/o having to remove rear cover This post has been edited by KittyKat: Mar 27 2013, 09:58 AM |

QUOTE(Neo|ofGeo @ Mar 27 2013, 10:04 AM) Eh but i like the rear cover to protect SD and MicroSim, True... But i am loving something like XZ, all hot swap from outside, hehehesince if thehe flaps accidentally ''open'' it will damage the MicroSD and Simcard Well other's agreed but i would to see they give new version of Xperia Go something like wireless charging so we can really avoid opening flaps Wireless charger quite costly. Will be fun to have that feature though... |
