I reset my phone yesterday because I used the wrong email address.
I choose option 1 and it works just fine. I think the physical button is the same thing as doing option 1.

When I click the back button for a about 1-2 seconds there is this app that you previously use.
Can I somehow close it?

How many times have you actually charged your phone?
It takes more than 5 or more times for the battery to actually come to life.

I ask the Nokia guy yesterday and he said that it needs a few time of charging and also the rumoured 6-8 hours of charging for first time use.
I ask him why about the 6-8 hours of charging for first time use, they told me in training before they get to work at Nokia, they ask the workers to recommend the customers to do so to increase battery life when first time using it.

I have no battery issues so far and I've not followed his tip about charging it for 6-8 hours.
Phone battery works just as great and awesome as my previous phone.
The only thing I could think of about the battery issue is a factory defect, and if it's true it's on a lot of phones..

WhatsApp is just fine in my opinion.
I've used the iOS and Android version before and I think it's just fine, nothing bad about it, that I could mention so far..
Notifications are fast and nothing sluggish. Common la Lumia 920 kot. haha

It's good that they know it needs an extra juice to make the usage last longer. I'd say it isn't that bad, pretty much similar to my previous iPhone. I could live with that


People spamming ey, must be in a group. Windows Phone are very smooth and doesn't seems sluggish at all.
I have tested scrolling down huge wall of text, and it scrolls very smooth. No lag for me

I bought it 2 days ago at Lowyat Plaza at Nokia store ground floor.
There was only black colour in stock though.
I somehow was able to get the yellow one since someone cannot pick up his pre-order this week. Very lucky.
No so sure if they still have stock though. The Nokia store at 3rd or was it 2nd floor doesn't have stock at all.

How do you guys get the portico update?
I just checked my phone for updates and there was none.
But this morning, I got a bunch of app updates from Nokia/Microsoft.

Even the US isn't getting the Portico update.
I've heard some European and Canadian got it though.
Some say that their battery life got worse some say the same.
Maybe the reason they didn't push the update is to fix that problem.

New rom, heard that one too. Where can I get this new rom.
Wondering when a jailbreak/root is ever gonna come.

Only for Lumia 8X not 920 as far as I know.

I heard some bad things about it regarding battery life.
Some guy just got a 2nd Lumia from Nokia as the first one has bad battery life.
His battery life improved but after Portico update it got worse than his first Lumia.
So i'm a bit scared to upgrade lol.

I actually prefer mine naked as well. But i'm afraid it might get scratches.
Scratches on the screen is permanent but base on the crazy test where a guy use a knife and poke the phones screen it seems it might not need a screen protector.
Gorilla glass should be awesome, my iPhone 4 has been naked for 2 year and still no scratch.
No so sure about corning gorilla glass though. Just being protective.

I've afraid of corning glass as my Nexus 7 is corning too and it has a deep scratch.

Reporting in for today regarding battery life.

I've been using Wifi for all day now with light usage of 3G when I was out to study.
Mostly whatsapp, browsing at this forum and some news site, install some news apps and fb'ing.
My battery life is at 33% with battery saver off and nfc off. Location is on and all background application is on.

Not quite sure if Digi is ever gonna bring the yellow or red colour. Only got black and white.

I was able to get the yellow one from the nokia store 3 days ago. The real launch date is actually on January, if you are willing to wait you'll get it

Probably mid January. But the Nokia guy told me on January, no specific date.

Mine is quite tight as it takes a bit of force to push the charger in and out

5 hours of 3g usage while going to class. Still left 66% of battery. Quite good, I must say. Browsing,twitter,fbing and whatapp sometimes. Much better than my iPhone 4.
