At certain times when swiping or tapping your fingers on the touchscreen of smartphones, anyone feels a slight pain, tingling, burning or uncomfortable sensation on your fingers? Assuming the fingers are clean and not wet.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi yes, I get that, more recently in particular. It's getting to the stage where it's uncomfortable to use the phone. And it's not limited to any one finger. I've tried a few touch phones but they all seem to have an effect so far. I suspect it's the electric field and some people being more sensitive to that than others (without wanting to sound too new age!). In damp environments it's not so noticeable (or after having a shower). It is worse in dry air conditions. The effect is less on an ipad for whatever reason than a nexus 7. And is noticeable on an iphone and android phones, even with the haptic feedback turned off- to the point where I use a stylus now when I can reasonably do so. Some screen covers seem to reduce the effect a bit- the zagg ones especially. Also the otter box defender which covers the screen also makes a difference. I'm seriously thinking about going back to using a blackberry with a keyboard! I thought I was the only person but I met someone else who's also having the same experience. The iphone 5 seems better than the 4s. Not sure if the aluminum casing makes a difference.

I am also seeing burning sensation and tingling in my hands whenever I touch the mobile phone. I am using samsung s8+.
I don't know what to do, how are you doing? Do you still have a problem, how you are managing?

Please help me and guide me on what should I do, which Doctor I should visit. I am very disturbed and its impacting my daily life a lot. This problem started to me since last 4 months.
I am only comfortable using the phone while in Airplane mode.
