Yup. I am sure Owen and Torres both regretted their decisions massively. Who would want to go from "Hero to Zero"? He even took a pay cut to join Chelsea.
PS - If they stop us from talking about Torres as a topic, we shall reply "The Freedom of Speech"

Mickey seems content enuff collecting big paychecks after his Reds career. Can't see him regreting leaving us considering his fondness of gambling. Someone have to foot his gambling needs right
Just think that its fortunate that the team is not us, Mikey taking the Mickey out of Toon....
As for Torres, second tots maybe considering how his post Reds career panned out. but still don't think he regrets it due to the statements he released abt Reds. Oh ya, how's Olala doing over there, Terry not targetting he, is he

Get over it and move on
But seriously, you're right. Torres was one of the most complete strikers I've ever seen. I actually wouldn't rate RVP as high as him. Another complete player I feel is Cristiano Ronaldo, although he often loses out in competitions to Messi due to his selfishness I guess.
I really hope Yesil shines against the Young Boys, though I doubt he'll get a call up against MU. We're probably gonna look at Boringni and Suarez again up front. Though I do hope BR will have the presence of mind to deploy GJ as a winger, since the two newcomers might not be adjusted to the PL yet. Is Enrique still injured? Man I miss Finnan, Arbeloa and Riise
RvP is for the nvr score 2 same goals statement. In all seriousness, RvP only started scoring freely in the past 18 mths or so. He's nvr a great scorer but a scorer of great goals in his career.
I would say CR is more complete than Torres though. Prob with CR me think is mostly of his arrogance which keeps off the neutral. Messi on the other hand seems more down to earth & low profile, which identifies to most working class ppl.
Finnan & Arbeloa, both solid & unspectacular. While Riise must've lost his shooting boots after 'that' goal, for all his shots threatened spectators more than keepers

Indeed and we let him for got all of 2 million. He may have been in the last year of his contract but I thought it would have been smarter to keep him for a year rather than let him go for such a paltry sum.
Can't help that he longed to be back to his roots though sometimes i wonder how the heck players think, for going from starter in a good team to being subs in RM. He's not the only one...loads of others are the same.
