some semi complete pics follow...

[attachmentid=3035079]

[attachmentid=3035080]

Almost complete state, see the floor is my favourite 2x2 NIRO Season series grey....but turn out not as beauty as seen in showroom. The wall is also using SEASON 1x2 beige. Table top use Feruni black(got starry starry type). And this is the 3G door from Unity Kitchen.

Post Renovation
- remember to include "cleaning" as part of your wet work item. This aren't normal cleaning that we can use our house hold cleaner to do. It require mild acid, thinner, tools, etc so you might not want to get yourself into this mess. At least have them clean to "move in condition". Still you will find yourself needing to wipe X times before you can move in, that's how bad it is post renovation. Wet work contractor "should" normally take up this without charges if you negotiated for it.
- before the last tong sampah got sent off, make sure you have your contractor man to clear up all the rubbish in the drain. I forgot my drain and I end up digging plenty of sh*t out from the drain and don't know where to send them to.
- run through your sign contract/checklist, tick them in front of him and finally make payment promptly. I am sure you will get back a big smile happy face from him  rclxm9.gif
- moving house - i heard a few and I got it myself - mover are real A**hole.....you called the lorry man on the roadside advertiser, very likely you will need to pay 2-3 times the amount agreed, this idiot job is to "con" you outright with light "force" and "pressure" if you say it politely, else you can say they are just "bully" / "extort". Professional mover cost a lot, but if you don't like to experience what I did, getting the costliest mover seems to avoid this unhappy epic. Can share more on this if you want to hear the mother story.

Hi, can you share with me the code of your Niro Tiles for kitchen floor? I really like your kitchen design but as I am not from KL, I can only order using code from my local distributor. May I know if the surface is anti slip?

Many thanks in advance!

I have benefited from this forum a lot in my renovation escapade. After plenty of readings, bookmarks, making notes, homework, shopping, executions, spendings...etc etc...I think it will be injustice for me not to share anything back to you guys. But please note my sharing does not mean outright promotion of this people/contractor because in the end, it work out or not with you, really depending on your handling of this people and matter. I hope to make below sharing as less painful as I can for you and me so I opted for this point format.

very good info for me as I am going to renovate my place too.

i hv a few questions here and need sifu bteoh assistance :

#1, did u do your own ID design or did u engage an ID to do the design?.
if you do engage an ID, plse comment on the price and quality of work

#2, did not see in your report about Wardrobe and other cabinets, did u engage someone to do it( by measurement) ?

#3, what about curtain, any recommendation

tks in advance smile.gif

Did you buy all the material yourself? Mind sharing the shop name and location? I'm looking for the cheapest place to buy all the building materials. Just main materials like cement, sand, stone, bricks, etc. tq
