or a alternative way, install abode reader in ur phone then confirm can view biggrin.gif

stock no file readerlar...
only stock pdf reader laugh.gif

and no, we all ditched adobe pdf reader.
why ask? because it suck badly.

try opening a pdf with 60 pages say a book, and zoom in to read. the word will start dancing.
worse, open a 30page pdf with lines, graphs and tables n u will have yellow distortions, crazked page and images that makes u think u have been eating shrooms.

The thing is I want everything to be simple on the default homescreen (center page)

Which icon that could cost screen burn in???  shocking.gif

The normal clock also can cause burn in? so scared man unsure.gif
*
navigation buttons, if u use alarmclock that auto alarm everyday, the icon, and the bottom icons on home screen.

problem solved by using dark icons, black nav bar, and clean status bar.
can't live without status bar whistling.gif

QUOTE(amduser @ Sep 9 2012, 09:16 PM)
from what i know, as long as any icon or words that stay on your screen for too long will cause burn in

like the navigation bar, i just wander around xda-developer forum and found that most Gnex user got navigation bar screen burn in
*
well unnecessary, if u use max brightness with very strong blue/white hues, then burn ins are faster.
try viewing pure white pages with 1 line in the middle for a very long time, u will realise...
or pure white over dark zones.
i usually set max brightness at 80% and never allow anything to push it to 100%

How to get all those dark icons and black nav bar?
*
set brightness/transparency 0% or just replace with black pictures made with ms paint tongue.gif

that means i don have other option to back up the whatsapp data? because i dint unlock my boot loader==
*
an arse is because u are selling a service for profit but using a free developer toolkit to achieve that
wonders do people like u donate to developers or just charge customers and rip self profits.

anyways.

be4 u even unlock bootloader or backup, the app wassapp is ardy backedup in ur sdcard.. meaning just copy the sdcard and tada all backed up..<this probably proves u r an iphone user...

your statement is so confusing and i dont know what's your intention to post the above statement. what selling service for profit and charge customers and etc. im here to ask how to backup but then came out the solution like this, are you in the wrong thread or pointing the wrong person im wondering==

sdcard? this phone doesnt come with sdcard am i right. this is my new phone and yeah whats wrong to be an iphone user ?
*
just folo what i say

1- boot a pc

2- plug in ur gnexus with micro usb

3- w8 for driver install

4- a folder will pop up saying itz a galaxy nexus. (sd partition)

5- copy the 'WhatsApp' folder.

6- paste it on ur desktop.

7- make sure u have '.trash' 'Databases' 'Media' 'Profile Pictures'

8- after u done everthing, reverse and put back the folder and install whatsapp and it will locate that folder.

fyi contacts are backer up to gmail.

and yes im probably in the wrong thread too.. i should head over to the parallel universe.

as what i have posted to u is irreverent and didn't solve anything.

things must be posted in steps to figure out so u dun trip and spoil ur 'new' unit huh wink.gif

FYI, what is a sdcard and what is an internal storage. Gnex comes with internal storage only not sdcard/external storage.
*
well if u must captain,
will u sue me for not using the full abbreviations here?

if u open file manager, u see sdcard.
and yes it is not a physical, but a virtual sdcard.

so am i sooo wrong to not use 'virtual sd card' but use a short universal sdcard form of saying?

am i stepping on ur friend toes? why suddenly got some random user come and butt hurt shoot me?

it works both ways and if u plug in ur comp u will see it as an sdcard too, but itz virtual. like deamon tools.

if itz truly like an internal like u say, u will be seeing like nokia internal or apple plug in and see nothing.
u must remb how idevices transfer files?

thank u captain obvious! notworthy.gif

QUOTE(lol_man @ Sep 10 2012, 04:44 PM)
yeap, it could be seen when using filemanager. just to clarify the meaning of a sdcard and internal storage to the 2 members above smile.gif
*
for god's sake, i know itz a virtual sd. but the new guy dun understand the virtual or is new to even read about it.

thank u for telling the world that i duno the difference.

im guessing u are the smartest person, and no one here ever touched an iso file doh.gif

in wifi settings, untick the dont connect to weak signals thing..

cuz on defult it will disconnect on poor connection like even if it got 50% of coverage.. doh.gif
